My experience with Afiswitch has been nothing short of frustrating. Their communication is extremely poor, you’ll send messages on their whatsapp to do follow-ups… and it feels like they disappear into another dimension. But the funny thing? The moment it’s time to receive payment, suddenly they move at lightning speed. Clearly, their notification system works perfectly when money is involved. Unfortunately, that same energy completely vanishes when it’s time to deliver the actual service. Delays, no proper updates, and zero sense of urgency. It honestly feels like customer service is an afterthought. If responsiveness were a competition, they’d win gold for collecting payments and come last for everything else. Very disappointing experience overall.

Poor communication and no customer support I am extremely disappointed with Afiswitch’s lack of communication and customer support. I urgently need an updated SAPS Extract for my daughter. Despite multiple attempts to contact Afiswitch, I have received no assistance. I sent messages to their WhatsApp number (previously used successfully), made a phone call where I waited in the queue for over an hour (moving from position 9 to position 1), only to be disconnected by an automated message instructing me to send an email due to “high call volumes.” I have also sent multiple emails to the provided addresses (theanda@afiswitch.com and resubmit@afiswitch.com ) over two days, with no response. When dealing with a time-sensitive request, this level of non-responsiveness is unacceptable. I would not recommend Afiswitch based on my experience.

My fiance lost a job opportunity which he could have started on Monday.... Try to phone Afiswitch voice mail high volume calls please phone later. Send emails to info, queries on 8/1/26 send what's up.. refer to 4 diff emails send to those people on 9/1/26 till now no response. Really how the h..ll must one get through to these people.....

The customer service is very bad, I did a prpd then they took my fingerprints November and paid everything, but they keep on saying, they are waiting for police report then I went to check if they came back in on the 5th January 2026 they told me they are waiting for afswitch and that they will be expiring on the 13th. I went there 3 times, i work very hard for my money afswitch it’s nonsense honestly. They don’t even answer their calls. I hope they cancel them.

You phone and the phone doesn't get answered. The you drive to Centurion, get to the office and find the Receptionist on a call on her cellphone. The workers at the office are so casual and don't show care to customers. They are not helpful at all. We pay for services and get **** thrown in our faces.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Afiswitch. I completed my PDP renewal on 14 November 2025, and I have now done my fingerprints twice at the Kagiso Traffic Department because Afiswitch reported that the system was offline during my first submission. I went back yesterday and retook my fingerprints as instructed, but when I phoned Afiswitch this morning, I was told that my fingerprints are still not verified because they “still need to process the payment.” I was then told to check again next week Thursday. This is unacceptable. My PDP has already expired, and my Bolt driver account has been suspended, which means I currently have no income. I have followed every step required by the Traffic Department and Afiswitch. The delays are happening on Afiswitch’s side, yet I am the one who is suffering the consequences. All I am asking for is the service I have already paid for: timely fingerprint verification so my result can be sent to the RTMC system. The lack of urgency and communication is extremely frustrating and has placed my livelihood at risk. I need Afiswitch to prioritise my case, verify my fingerprints, and send the results to the Traffic Department without further delay. I don’t know how SA government repeatedly chooses the worst of the crop when it comes to service providers. I held on the phone for 1hr20min I started as caller #8 and when I got to caller #1 I get told we are experiencing high call volume please email ur or hang up. How does this happen after holding for so long I need to speak to a agent and get my PrDP sorted and one has to deal with such.

I app**** for a pdp and I had to pay R110 at absa for afiswitch to do my finger prints when I got to dlt check it shows I didn't submit I drove from kagiso to centurion at afiswitch office they could not help me they just told me that they where offline on days of my application they told me to drive back to Kagiso and retake the finger prints and call them to see if they got them but the reason I drove there was because they don't answer their phone this very hopeless because m going to loose a job as a result
