Felt Pressured Into an ********* Situation
I’m posting this based on my own experience. I paid R800 to this driving school for them to book my driving test. During my final driving lesson, my instructor explained an “alternative” way the test could go, which strongly suggested that passing would not be based purely on my driving ability. This conversation happened in person while we were in the car. That explanation made me extremely uncomfortable, and I decided I no longer wanted this company involved in booking my test. I asked for a refund of the R800 booking fee, but this was refused, with no consideration given to why I no longer felt comfortable proceeding. I’m not accusing anyone of anything — I’m simply explaining what was said to me and how it made me feel. I believe customers should be able to withdraw and receive a refund when a situation raises serious ethical concerns and trust is lost. I would like this resolved by refunding the R800.

I'm angry and very disappointed in Alberton Driving school. I want my money back.
Very bad we paid R1900 for Learners lessons and they haven't done a booking or let her know of the pre test that was paid on 31/08/2024. Now they refuse to refund my R1900 and the nr for the owner Mr Elton 0838390521 sais the number does not exist. This is poor service and I don't recommend this driving school to anyone.

Poor planning practices. You book and are given a schedule of classes based on your availability, however their planning is very poor as they repeatedly had to ask me to change my driving lesson schedule. It wasted so much time. ********* practices. The instructors literally and blatantly offer you to take the bribe of R2500 on the day of your license test, labeling it as a guaranteed pass, making it sound legit. ***? And because I didn't pay the bribe, I failed my license test. Their service is extremely slow. I kept in contact with their offices as communication via whatsapp, talking to a girl named Jade. Jade was extremely cold, short answered my texts and almost never ever rep**** to me on time. She was indifferent to any queries whatsoever. Alberton driving school is literally **** it's no wonder why people don't drive properly on the roads lmao

Be Warned - Do not use!
I do not even want to select a star, worst experience ever!!!! We are sitting on the opposite side of JHB and my daughter stays in Alberton, trying to arrange this was a nightmare. They are quick to promise you BS to get your money in the beginning and then it an absolute struggle to get things done, there is not enough space here to type all the excuses from them, rude obnoxious owner, wasting my time and money and being part of *******ion! BE WARNED - DO NOT MAKE USE OF THIS PATHETIC PLACE!!!!

A Joke of a driving school
I wish I had come to Hello Peter or did more research first before I actually chose this driving school💔 So in November 2023 , my lil brother and I went to Alberton driving school to start the whole process of getting our licences...the package was R4500 each person (it included learners, driving lessons and the licence itself) so in total I paid R9000 cash! For some reasons my brother could not continue with the process, I requested for a refund of his portion and I was told it's not refundable for some lousy reasons. I let it slide coz I read the clause and there was something of that sort. Fine I continued guys When I tell you guys that I've been waiting for them to book me for a learner's test...I waited and waited and literally had to beg to be booked for my learner's test...no communication from them I did all the calling until the last call I had about this with a woman named Jade (I stand to be corrected) I'm not sure but she's colord...she was rude like nobody's business and she did not want to consider my grieviances...her reply to me was "are we gonna stay on the call and hear your complaints for an hour or do you want me to book you a test" imagine guys😂😂😂😂... Fast forward I wrote my learner's on the 1st of March cool Time for lessons , the first 3 times I went for the lessons they went okay then boom...guys drum roll 😭😭😭😭😭😂😂 The instructors were not showing up for my lessons, there was double booking and lack of planning... Today I was booked for a lesson at 12pm and nobody showed up again!!! I called the driver's school on the number where we communicated, I called and texted no reply...I then proceeded to contact my instructor... He said he will check for me after 45min I then left coz this has happened before Whilst I continued with other things of the day that rude colord lady with zero emotional intelligence and no decent service...she called me from the number +27716071141 me shouting at the top of the voice accusing me 1. Of lying about being there for lessons and no one showed up 2. Having "personal relationship" with the instructor because I contacted him Absurd!!!! Like who runs business like that?? As for accusing me for having "personal relationships" with the instructor.. I provide customer service for a living and what I got there is comedy 😂😭😭 it's jokes And jokes with my money! ... Do not take this, they just take your money for the package but guarantee does not apply The learner still does the test and if they pass they pass They pocket your cash and do not offer the service Use another driving school
