No honor or integrity
Had the unfortunate pleasure a few years ago of being involved in a mitor vehicle accident with Mr Allan Lewthwaite. I had stopped at a red robot light on Cnr Main Rd and Windemere Drive in Benoni when he drove his white Ford Ranger into the rear of my stationary vehicle. He was very accomodating on the day , but changed as soon as i started sending him quotes for fhe damage. After admitting being at fault he soon started ignoring all mails , texts and calls from me. I lost around r13 000 because of him . He was a bit under the weather on the day of the incident and i later discovered he was returning from a pub lunch at Papa Boa Restuarant down the road from the incident. I reported the accident the exact same day and he the next....i wonder why. Its clear that promises are not made to be kept by all. I expected a businessman of his stature to honour and repair the damage he caused but i was wrong . A bit of honesty and integrity goes a long way especially when you are in the service industry , but seems we dont all play by the same rules

Rental money not given to the owner of the house.
My name is Nokuthula Mashabane I have been given a reference of Allan Lewthwaite for rental . Mr Allen advertised the house and he managed to secure the Tenants. After securing the Tenants he took the deposit money, money for keys and money for first month rent from the Tenants. He didn't communicate anything to as the land lord . At the of December the Tenants paid him again money for rent and he disappeared with the money. I have made a contact with him, he's ignoring my phone calls , I have sent him messages he is not answering them. He took my close to R150000 for my house and disappeared with all of it . Allen calls himself a registered Estate agent and this is how he is treating his customers. I need help and I want him to give what it due to me . Allan rent out my house as an agent and enriched himself with my rental money.

Totally dishonest and i lost a lot of money
Had an accident with the guy from this company...not sure if he is the owner but his Surname is Lewthwaite. Was some years back , he drove into the rear of my vehicle , at a red robot , when i was stationary . Got all pictures and details of accident , but thats all i got . Didnt even try to help , at all. I lost a lot of money repairing my vehicle as he refused to acknowledge me at all , at first on the said day , was all apolegetic and admitted driving into me , but on the next day everything changed. I lost a lot of money due to his dishonestly....his name was Alan.

Allan Lewthwaite Properties (Brakpan/East Rand) (avoid buying property from them)
Hi Never try to buy a house from this estate agent! They make a lot of promises and once they receive their money they ignore your calls! I have been trying to contact Mr. Lewthwaite and leaving countless voicemail messages and emails and he does not respond. he simply ignores all your calls. If there was a way of giving him zero (0) I would. I am in stress and hes nowhere to be seen so avoid at all cost. I am seeking legal assistance in suing them! Thabo Nkosi, Brakpan
