I have a problem with my ISP, Home-Connect. Our contract has since expired and I called them to request to be charged a lower rate as they now charge R688 instead of R711 subscription fee that they charge me on the month to month contract and they refused. All they say I have signed up for the R711 contract which they agree has long expired but they don't want to charge a lower fee that is advertized. How on earth are they still referring to a contract that has since expired? They unfairly charging me more while sticking on the contract that has expired this is day-light robbery as I cannot understand why am I being charged more than their current subscription fee. All their agents that call are just calling to make me accept the over-priced expired contract based subscription fee. I have 2 complaints against Evetech, 1. Their adverts are misleading, on advert they say a CPU is 4.7Ghz but when you get the order its 3Ghz that can be unlocked to 4.7Ghz! Why dont they tell the truth and say they are selling a 3Ghz unlocked CPU? 2. They force clients to use the courier option regardless of where they are. Why will one pay for the courier service when staying less than 20km from the shop and also willing to go collect? The courier service should be optional and they force you into this choice just to support their courier service provider and also to allow for delayed delivery of your products. I placed and order last month (26 Sept 2019) and its not delivered up until now (02 Oct 2019, when I call they keep telling me it will be delivered tomorrow and still no delivery has taken place! Their products are of undoubtably high quality but the service is sub-standard. I will in future use them as a last resort.
Hi, I am a customer of Altech Netstar, I got hijacked and my vehicle was never discovered. Hijackers dropped me off in Katlehong on the 8th of November 2018. They removed the tracking device but the tracking device kept on being active until the following day but was never recovered to this day! To test their response, I removed a battery of the second vehicle's battery expecting them to call. Guess what? I only received an sms and they never called! I then drove the vehicle at 160km/h a few minutes later and still they never called! The dont give a damn about your cars getting stolen! All they do is collect the money only to leave you with the false hope that you are covered! I believe customers are on their own. To this day they never bothered to call! Imagine if you were asleep and your vehicle is stolen and the tracking company does not call you while you pay monthly for their non-existent service? I rather pay a higher premium for insuring your vehicle than relying on a tracking company as I am starting to believe they dont care and have no accountability and they pay nothing if they fail to protect your vehicle! They are useless!
Hi Never try to buy a house from this estate agent! They make a lot of promises and once they receive their money they ignore your calls! I have been trying to contact Mr. Lewthwaite and leaving countless voicemail messages and emails and he does not respond. he simply ignores all your calls. If there was a way of giving him zero (0) I would. I am in stress and hes nowhere to be seen so avoid at all cost. I am seeking legal assistance in suing them! Thabo Nkosi, Brakpan
