The service is horrible. We say for an hour while my friend complained about a headache. Also the hygiene is non existent, they had one cup by their water dispenser for all of us in the waiting area to share! We were addressed by their ward staff Thembi Mthombeni who tried clarifying about the waiting time and how the prioritise those who come with ambulances. They have no sense of emergency what so ever.

I have been with this medical scheme since 2014 but this year they have put me through hell, went to their office to register for maternity program I filled in the forms and gave them back also I gave them an invoice for a claim they had to refund me,3 months later I am at the doctor and not registered to the program when we call them they tell me they can’t find my forms I have to register again, none of the refunds I’ve claimed have been paid back to me,mind you they will never call you you’re the one who must constantly call them back even when you call them you struggle to get hold of them, I have never been so frustrated in my entire life.

Guys please do not use this medical aid scheme. The doctors office called to confirm benefits and the number does not go through. They sent an email telling us which numbers to use. I tried all the numbers and got no help. I call the principal officer and he told me to stop calling he is out with his family. Can you believe that! This members name is Johan Hartzenberg.

Went for a MRI. Booked the previous day. Asked for a sedative to cope with claustraphobia. Got a tablet 1 min before going into the machine. Was told I move too much. No supporting pillows was placed under my lower back. Bad bad bad experience

On Saturday the 16 Nov my father went to midmed hospital middelburg because their was blood in his urine as he is taking wafferin he was scared his blood was to thin. The doctor wanted to admit him but they couldn't get an answer from the medical scheme as they said they will find out why. The doctor said my father must ask the lady in front to put a peace of paper in front of his file to contact him and explain on Monday which did not happen.. As my father asked the lady she raised her voice and my father said he does not want to argue with her he is not feeling well and turned to step out of the door and she laughed at him. This is very unprofessional and unexeptable. He is a human and must be treated with respect.
