Write a review A review of A O Motors Tyrone J 1 reviews | Active since Aug 2021 16 Aug 2021, 20:47 Unsatisfied In July 2019 I bought a Opel Astra OPC 2013 model from A/O Motors Worcester. In August 2019 I had a problem with the above mentioned vehicle because it had no power. I contacted Mr. Henry Odendaal who is the owner/manager of the above mentioned business and he told me that I must bring the vehicle to above mentioned business so that they can sort the problem out .I went there and the mechanic told me that it was the booster pipe of the vehicle that was loose and he put the booster pipe in again and the vehicle had power. In September 2019 I had the same problem with the vehicle I contacted them again and told me that I must bring the vehicle to them the mechanic than told me that I must leave the vehicle by them so that they can see if it's not the turbo of the vehicle. They contacted me a few days later and informed me that it's the vehicles turbo. My insurance contacted me and informed me that they deposited money into the account where the turbo was fixed. I can't say if the turbo was replaced but I know my insurance payed money for the turbo to be fixed. I received the above mentioned vehicle in March 2020 and the vehicle broke again the same day and they fetched the vehicle two (2) days later. I did not have the vehicle in my possession for three (3) months because I received the vehicle six (6) months later.i am still paying my monthly installments. The above mentioned business is putting the blame on me which I can say I did not even drive the vehicle often. The above mentioned vehicle had an astimated 37865 km on the clock more or less. Till today the vehicle is still by the above mentioned business. They informed me that they are not going to fix my vehicle because as they said it's my fault which I can assure you it's not. I was referred to the Ombudsman (MIOSA) but they could not help me and I was then referred to the RMI and they also said they cannot help me. The vehicle was by the above mentioned dealer/business from September 2019 up and until March 2020 I received the vehicle in March 2020 and it broke again the same day and from March 2020 when they fetched it two (2) days later the vehicle is still by them and I'm still paying my monthly installments till today if there were no stars I would of given them none. https://aomotors.co.za/contact-us/ A.O Motors sold us a 2017 VW Golf 7 TSI that was deemed a code 2 and when we started reporting petrol leaks and broken seatbelts, to say the least, they countered with ‘we did not sell you this car, it was Weslin’, refusing to service the complaint until I decided to refer the matter to the automotive industry ombudsman. Since then, A.O Motors have taken my car for repairing the defects, but on returning my vehicle more than three months later, the new Debra report showed that only cosmetic work was done. We still had a broken seatbelt and leaking Petrol tank, to say the least, once more, We bought this vehicle October 2021. Driving it is no longer and piton as it remains a health and safety risk and should be on the road in its current state. We have been offered a R 5000 settlement amount to compensate for the trouble we have been causes so far, but this is unacceptable. The debt is over R250 000 AND ALL WE HVE BOUGHT IS STRESS, EXPENSE, WORRY, SLEEPLESS NIGHTS AND EXCESSIVE DAILY EMAILS AND ADMINISTRATION TO TRY AND GET AA.O.MOTORS TO GET THE VEHICLE IN A SAFE AND PROPER STATE. I will now have to put in more effort to get an affordable lawyer to start a civil suit in order for us to get treated fairly as we have no more faith in A.O.Motors. I was very happy when the car was returned and complimented the team from A.O. motors, but when they sent me the new Debra report, I was not happy at all with the fact that the items that makes the vehicle unsafe for the road and use were still defecting the vehicle. A.O.Motors have wasted too much good time on treating us unfairly. When the vehicle is in its proper and safe state and when I am refunded for 3 Months worth of installments and all other money I have spent on defect related expenses, I will be open to discussing closure of this case.

In 2014 I bought a car from a o motors they were calling me mad and doing a lot of effort, I was very happy and took the car a few days later I convinced my sister to buy a car there aswel and she did, a year later my mom started looking for a car and I also told her to go to ao motors because of there very fast service, according to a o motors they will give 2000 rand to a person who recommended them and if the sale is made they will pay out the 2000 rand.
Today I finally could get hold of the salesman we all worked through, we have been trying get hold of him and for 3 weeks now we are getting nowhere and each time he has an excuse.
I have been a nice guy and asked only for 2000 as they promised but they are not comming back to me I have to phone them now and I'm very unhappy because after they have sold a car they could not care less about the customer.
I feel they should pay out the 4000 rand if it wasn't for me they would not have sold those 3 cars, they made the money and now they are turning a blind eye.
