Failuire to honor guarantee
We bought a house that had had the roof "waterproofed" by Raymond from ARK. Raymond assured the seller and ourselves that the guarantee issued would remain valid even though ownership had transferred. After the first rains, water poured into the house. Numerous attempts were made to fix the leak, we have now been told that no further work will be carried out. This is totally unacceptable.

Unprofessional
Poor professionalism. Accused me of being rude and aggressive for frankly reporting a water leak in our kitchen and garage. Diverted my request to the groundskeeper. Ironic. Would not recommend their service

POOR SERVICE- SORRY, NO SERVICE
The owner came to see me to give a quote on asbestos work on 16/08/22, after many calls, emails, etc. I am still waiting for my quote and today it is 8/09/22. I phoned him today and when he heard who it was, he ended the call. I repeatedly phoned back from my cell phone and land line and he ends the calls. Pathetic and so unprofessional!!!!

CREEP OF THE ARK
This company employs creeps! One of their employees sat in his bakkie at a local park taking photographs of young girls/woman, then waited until they walked away to push a public bench down a slope so that when others came they couldn't sit in that spot. The same guy then drove into the gated community of Buckingham Mews in Elfindale after that. Instead of working this guy was in a park like some creep photographing girls and woman without consent as if he had a right to, one would wonder if he's a human trafficker the way he acted. Worst part is that he sat in a bakkie marked with the company logo, poor marketing on his part.

Rename ARK Roofing Waterproofing to Titanic
Ark Roofing / Waterproofing Head Office led by Raymond Douglas & Franchisee Ryan Potts initially made a fairly good impression, until the 70% deposit was paid to Ryan for removal of asbestos sheets & replacing with metal. First day he arrived late on site, did not want to speak to the property owner & did not organize key equipment to execute the job. Ryan displayed NO respect for client, his team is negligent during operations and handle problems arising on site by denying their liability and resorting to insulting the property owner. Ryan plays on his phone mostly while on site instead of checking on the quality of workmanship of his workers and responds to immediately problems by saying that he didnt notice it, when you show him hard evidence he then says oh Im sorry & goes right back to as if it never happened; their narcissistic ways aim to prove that they are prepared to urinate on your roof (carefully pick a place where the urine stands) despite you hiring toilet facilities for them. They drop heavy object on glass hob & say nothing; when you confront them they say somebody else could have done it (?!). They dump rubble on expensive garage doors and do not bother to clean it up, but run the doors over the dirty tracks; you have to stand next to them to insist they clean up; like dealing with toddlers. They manhandle new roofsheets to scratch off the coating until you can see the raw metal; they overtighten the roofing *****s to ruin the rubber seal and cause the roofing caps to not fit; when you query this the response is that the seals are not necessary, on the coast (!!). When they remove asbestos sheets they break some to make it easier for themselves, against regulations that stipulate you are not permitted to break the sheets. When you ask them if any sheets broke they say no none. This was captured on video. The franchisee Ryan Potts does not conduct safety meetings on site as required; when you insist it is done, he does a fake meeting, keeping his voice down so you cant hear what he says.
