Arora lights - Northgate, Cape Town. Disgusting business service; Accountability and behaviour
The staff and owners attitude towards their customers is once again typically reflective of the lack of business ethic and accountability once a sale has been made. I am appalled as a long a standing customer and at one time landlord who happily supported and even assisted when not required, to be treated with such disregard and disrespect as a customer now that they have had to close stores and left with one: excuses and bad service topped off with a sales man putting the phone down on my much older father, who was calmly discussing a matter of being taken for fools, twice! And have the audacity to do so is nothing short of disgusting. I will follow this as far as I can take this ugly example of how the service industry in this county think they are doing customers a favor by working. They do not deserve patronage nor accepting such disrespect not only they show customers but clearly a reflection of their own business and personal ethics.

Solid service that leaves you smiling
I cannot recommend this store enough. We were helped by Warren at the Stikland branch, and he went beyond good customer service. Friendly without being overwhelming, competent, great communicator who phones back when he says he will, great prices and friendly service from other staff in the shop too. What a joy to be doing business with people who show integrity – they deserve more than five stars.

I cannot recommend this store enough. We were helped by Warren at the Stikland branch, and he went beyond good customer service. Friendly without being overwhelming, competent, great communicator who phones back when he says he will, great prices and friendly service from other staff in the shop too. Amazing Customer Service and Great selection of lights!
Excellent Customer Service both in store and over the phone. Helped by a great guy in the store and by Asrine over the phone. Went above and beyond to get the lights we wanted. The store has a great selection of interesting and beautiful lights!!!

Amazing Customer Service and Great selection of lights!
Excellent Customer Service both in store and over the phone. Helped by a great guy in the store and by Asrine over the phone. Went above and beyond to get the lights we wanted. The store has a great selection of interesting and beautiful lights!!!

Excellent customer service
I went to Arora looking for a floor lamp - a very specific kind. When I entered the store, there was a gent working on a display - he noticed me looking around and came over to offer assistance. The gent's name is Templeton. I explained what I wanted and he took me to the relevant product display - in addition he checked in the supplier catalogues for availability, price etc. When I was not convinced, he assisted me to look at alternatives. Once I found what I was happy with, Templeton fetched out some globes, and tested the lamp for me, then wrapped it carefully and assisted me to load it into my car. All in all, he was most helpful - nothing was too much trouble. He was also very knowledgeable and offered alternatives where appropriate. What a pleasant experience! I do hope Templeton is recognised for his great service.
