Over the years, I have purchased 2 vehicles from Auto King. One was a Hyundai and one was a Fiat. I kept both of my cars for about 7 years and never experienced any problems that were not due to wear and tear. Both times I purchased a vehicle, Auto King found me something specifically in my price range and went above and beyond to help me get finance. The process was also very fast! I would strongly recommend using Auto King when you are next in the market for a used vehicle. If they don't have what you are looking for, give them an opportunity to source it for you.

This is one of the most terrible experiences that I had with a second-hand dealer. I bought a car from them and within 3 months the manifold cracked, the water pump broke, the timing gasket was leaking oil, and the unit was "fixed "with silicone because one of the nuts broke off. The dealership assured me that the car had a full-service history and that there were no problems... When I asked them about all the problems on the car, they simply said that it went through roadworthy, so it is not their problem. Now I sit with a car that will cost me around R20 000 extra to fix, and this is just the problems that I can see from the outside. I know that buying a second-hand vehicle you always have the risk of something going wrong, but to fix a car with silicone and sell it to someone as a descent vehicle is just wrong on so many levels. I will NOT recommend that you buy from this dealership.

This is the worst company to buy a vehicle from. Please people stay away.I bought a 2011 Opel Astra 1.4J.I have driven the car 2****m from 26 August 2022 to 05 May 2023,car went in limp mode and start smoking with blue smoke.RMI dealer told me turbo must be replaced ( Nearly R20000).After the turbo has been replaced the car still smoked blue. After investigation the RMI service centre inform me that the PCV valve was bypassed in the intake manifold. To fix this problem will cost me R45500.On the add of the vehicle it said that the car is AA Approved.Extended warrany was also sold to me (AA Waranty) and this can't be claimed from the warranty because the car was modified. This was never told to me by Eugene Wayne when the car was bought from them with this modification. The car was worked on 17 August 2022 (odometer 108436) to repair faults. On 24 August 2022 the car was serviced (odometer 108357).The only thing I don't understand is how can the AA be associated with this company. They will ruin AA good name with this kind of vehicle

So happy that we found Autoking and managed to bag such a gem of a car. Love the car we ended up with and it even came with a self cleaning function everytime it rains. Oh yes, don't forget the free growth and fragrance package when the carpets and boot are under water, cannot not forget to take this option when getting your newish/ quality car. We are also truely grateful that from day 1 of getting the car, we were able to phone, email and report everything we love about the car to them and for them to so promptly fixing things (not at all) along with not even having to deal with any of the issues as they were not issues to begin with apparently. And who would of thought a R45k sunroof part could just be fixed with a spray of Q20, absolute geniuses! We love being able to feel the wind in our hair each and everytime we use it and gets stuck open, and wasnt even an optional extra. Plus the activities created when having to tape up plastic to the roof when we can't close it and have to secure it over night. Really do go the extra mile for you. Would love to list everything we love about the car, but unfortunately will run out of space. But, to name a few, the R45k broken sunroof, out of date and incorrect Dekra Report, control arms that are broken which was mentioned on the dekra report that you thought we would be better at replacing for you, the enormous water leak that we need to take a bucket to empty each time it rains along with the mold and fragrance of mold each time it rains, love it all and will most certainly get all of our next cars not from you as they are realy by far, out of our class range and must go elsewhere; anywhere else( s****yard comes to mind). Very sad about that. Please do not keep it up. You owe me stars for this post. Ps. It really is such a pity you removed your review section on Facebook when in the beginner of this all. It makes it alot harder for us tell you how much we have enjoyed being your customers, as i am sure that everyone else may feel the same way. Not to worry i will try and see where I can leave this message in as many places as possible for you. It really is no sweat at all, as that's how much we love this car and dealing with you.

I bought a car at Auto King within 3 days the car gave me problems tried to contact the dealer they referred me to RMI appoved workshop which I look around and VW was one of RMI approved workshop closest to me and the Saleman who helped me there Sam said "why did I take the car to VW " I told him that VW is an RMI approved too and he said he was talking about a "Normal RMI approved workshops" couldn't understand what is with this because I bought a polo and I took it to where it was manufactured and they found that the car was suspected of accident with missing things and it is my first time buying a car. The lady there at Dealer, said the car was never involved in an accident was a repossessed car the previous owner couldn't not pay for it. Tried to make contact with the dealership no reply and now its been 2 weeks what can I do to cancel the deal?.. I recently bought a car, On day 3 after i received the car. The car started to show warning signs that the car is over heating and I must check coolant level which I stopped and checked if the car still has water and yes it had water. I drove again since I was driving from home to where I stay, the car showed the warnings again and I had stop at friends place since I could reach my place it was still far, and the car was starting to more like losing power struggling to drive over a hill. Contacted the dealer and told them about what is happening didn't much really help they just said I should look for workshop that is RMI approved since the car still has warranty there which I found out that VW Uitenhage is RMI approved and I have warranty there. They came to tow the car since I was scared to drive it again. VW checked the and found that the car was once involved in an accident, the are loose pipes, things that are missing in that car, which led to blown gasket. Showed the dealer the report they have not got back to me since, and the guy from the dealership did not want me to take the car to VW if why I don't know. VW said the warranty will not pay for the repairs and I told it is only 3 days I have received the car, and they said i should take it back. Now VW want R9200 to strip the car and check then after they'll quote for another amount. Reason for this review I need an advice on what to do been trying to contact the dealer no reply and I want to cancel the deal and they take their car back.

I bought a car from Auto King. It had several mechanical issues. They took it back to repair it and when I got it back, there were dog paw prints all over the back seat and the car smelled of cigarettes smoke. I was just brushed off, excuse the pun.

On 1 April 2021 I purchased a 2011 Hyundai IX35 from Autoking in Milnerton. I was promised by the salesman (Eugene) that the car has no major issues and is in a perfectly working condition. Upon driving the car home, I discovered that hazards lights were not working when I pushed the hazard light button/switch. I immediately informed the salesman who informed me that I must bring the car back on 7 April 2021 (the day that I had to collect the new number plates and licencing disc) in order for him to fix the hazard lights. On 7 April I return the vehicle to the dealership in order for them to fix the hazard lights. To date the vehicle is still at the dealership and the defective hazard lights are still not fixed. I have called Eugene several times regarding the progress of the car. If I don't call, I am left in the dark as the dealership seems to have no real sense of urgency. They have had the car in their possession more than I have which frustrates me. This is clearly a dealership that doesn't value true customer service and will cut corners to close the deal.
