A few months ago, Tyremart performed work on my vehicle, including the replacement of shocks, shock mountings, brake pads, and brake discs. Ever since that service, we noticed a strange sound coming from the front of the car when pulling away, and the headlights were pointing directly at the ground. At the time, we didn’t think the headlight issue was related to Tyremart’s work. Since then, we have been trying to identify the cause of the noise, checking the brakes, pads, and suspension ourselves, and even sending the car in for a full service—yet no faults were found. To this day, we are still unsure of what exactly is causing the sound, but it has been there since the work was done. This past weekend, with the help of my dad, we conducted a detailed inspection and discovered a broken sensor arm in the right front wheel well, which is supposed to connect to the suspension. After researching, we identified it as the automatic headlight adjustment sensor—explaining why the lights have been pointing downward all this time. We immediately returned to Tyremart, as they are the only people who have ever worked on that part of the car, to explain the situation. While we understand that several months have passed, the sensor arm is not something that simply breaks on its own. Some of Tyremart's staff even agreed that the part could not have failed without external interference. Yet, despite this, the company refused to take responsibility or fix the issue. We have been loyal customers of Tyremart since 2022, trusting them with all our vehicles for services like alignments, puncture repairs, and brake and shock maintenance. After years of relying on them for quality work, it is incredibly disappointing that they will not own up to this mistake. To make matters worse, during a previous visit for wheel alignment on the same car, a technician used a hammer to force a size 19 spanner onto size 20 wheel nuts, completely damaging them to the point where a proper size 20 spanner no longer fit. I had to replace the wheel nuts as a result. After these experiences, we have completely lost trust in Tyremart. It is disheartening that a company we supported for years would refuse to correct a clear oversight. We will not be returning, and we hope this report helps prevent similar situations for other customers in the future.

Tyremart Autowiel Montna branch has the best staff, always quick to help, friendly and very helpful. I used to only go to TWT, but the staff here converted me. Thank you, and keep up the good service!!!

Probably a victim of product dumping. Bought two, 4 sets of tyres for different cars (width and aspect ratio different). The brand for all was Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance(NOT THE UPDATED 2). Both cars are dangerous on the road especially on extreme weather conditions. Even on normal days you will feel like you are on a boat with how wobbly they are. R13K+ after, we still need to replace tyres that are 2 months old. Should we have known/advised on how bad the sidewalls of this brand are, we would have opted for another brand even if it meant paying a premium. Other tyre fitment centres have tried balancing but they attribute to problem to wobbly tyres and not the balancing being an issue If the manufacturer has updated the product version to remedy the shortfall of the predessor then what the reason for the customers to continue being offered the old version.

I went to Tyremart on 21.12.2023 to buy two new tyres and install two new tyres. When they finished installing the new tyres they took my old tyres without my consent and I went to the shop on the following day 22.13.2023 - 09:15am to enquire about the whereabouts with my old tyres and they told me the tyres are no longer available .

A big shout out to Thulani.😀 On a very busy Saturday morning the friendly professional service we received was awsome. The price on 4 new tyres was also a lot lower than other places in the area - thank you!
