Amazing Awesome Moms
I used Mariska back in 2017 and she was awesome. I had no idea what I was doing, stressed out with a hard pregnancy and birth and she just took care of this other side of things for me. She was absolutely amazing and I recommend her to anyone who doesn't want to or just cannot go in and form uif ques etc to get their claim processed.

Paid for service never delivered
Before starting my maternity leave I paid Awesome Moms for their service. They sent me documents to complete which I did and sent back to them. They then told me they would not be able to lodge my claim until January 2018. In January I resent the documents to them, reminding them to submit my documentation. I didn't receive a response, so I sent several more emails which were also ignored. I have phoned several times and the phone is not answered. I have SMSed and received no response.

Not submitting correct documents - Claim delayed, no feedback.
Mariska was very helpful in the beginning, responding to mails quick and very happy to ask and receive money. She is not responding to mails or whats apps, her phone is off as well. My claim is delayed due to her submitting incorrect info and now she has vanished. Terrible service for the fee paid and trying to make things easier for new moms.

Mariska was very helpful in the beginning, responding to mails quick and very happy to ask and receive money. She is not responding to mails or whats apps, her phone is off as well. My claim is delayed due to her submitting incorrect info and now she has vanished. Terrible service for the fee paid and trying to make things easier for new moms.

Email received from Mariska at Awesome Moms
I have received this email from Mariska this morning at 5:12am (24.01.2018) "The Department of Labour advised us that agents and 3rd parties are no longer allowed to submit UIF claims on behalf of the applicant. This is unfortunate since this means you have to apply in person at the Department of Labour for UIF benefits. Please remember to take your Identity document with to the Department." I have requested from her... Since when was this law implemented? Can i then please have my original documents? And what about the payment i made for your services? ...No feedback yet ! Will all the other companies close ???

Terrible Service and Claim has never been completed
I completed all documents, submitted everything to Mariska after having a run around with home affairs with regards to my surname change. Got a mail from Mariska that she received all my originals and that they had been submitted. Since then I have received no feedback after sending countless emails and whatsapps and calling with no answer. I have now also not been paid out my Maternity UIF!

Mariksa seems helpful at first, but ends up ignoring any form of communication, has not once answered a phone call. baby almost 6 months old and still awaiting payment, to find our she never submitted all the documents. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!

Not so Awesome!
I was on maternity leave from Feb to May 2017. I contacted Awesome moms to assist me in my UIF claim. They *****ed it up. And they submitted it in Durban - I live in Pretoria so I cant fix it. I only got a third of the money I should have and now they refuse to assist me any further.

Not so Awesome!

Awesome moms to be avoided at any cost!
I've paid Mariska van Deventer to submit my claim to the UIF offices. It's been almost 3 months with no UIF payment. I tried to follow up with Mariska, why my claim is still not paid out, she ignores all messages and not answering any phone calls, she eventualy switched her phone off. I had to phone the UIF offices myself to follow up on my claim. I'm very disappointed in her, as she seemds very helpful in the beginning. Please avoid using her service!!!!
