Purchased two sets of the eight seat patio set from Shirley White for R18,000, three years ago after being assured by Shirley that the product is top quality. What a surprise I received when one chair broke on delivery. Since then six chairs have collapsed (Shirley repaired three chairs after much debate) and this morning the seventh chair didn't collapse ,it broke apart, literately.Trying to get Shirley to acknowledge and repair/replace is non existent. She is in denial and refuses to respond. I am now faced with the decision of either selling the furniture or repairing at my expense again. Thank goodness no one has been injured from collapsing chairs, so far. Bali Style Furniture certainly NOT recommended as a supplier of furniture.

<p>We were so disappointed with the poor quality and service we received from Shirley. We purchased an 8-seater extendable table with 6 regular chair seats and 2 arm chairs. They were in storage for the first 12 months and when we took them out to use - 3 of the chairs collapsed. We had friends over for a braai and not only was it embarrassing, it could have resulted in serious injury. We contacted Shirley and she agreed to repair 2 of the 3 chairs (she used the 3rd chair as spare parts). 4 months later another chair collapsed under someone. I e mailed Shirley, but haven’t heard back. This is completely unacceptable as this set was not cheap! The after service is awful. I would certainly not recommend them at all. Not a safe purchase. Terribly quality – extremely disappointing!!!!</p>

Our outdoor table & chairs were damaged in a storm. I need to buy another set before Xmas & insurance has agreed to pay. Insurance however needs a quote on a letterhead, so I asked the supplier of the table & chairs for a letter giving the price. When I called, I was told to email (no problem), & then emailed as requested.<br> Heard nothing, so followed up with a call the next morning. Another person said Shirley would call back & I asked that she check her email, thinking she may not have seen it. Was told no problem. I followed up telecom with another email & received reply saying \please wait". Waited 3 days and just called again to find out when I can expect quote. Have now been told that they \""don't do quotes\"". I clarified all I need is a letter saying what the price of the items are"
