Brandon and Chris never treated my like a potential client, The tow truck took the car in on the 29th of August 2025 - I got the car back on the 11th of November 2025 in a very bad state. On the 12th of November 2025 I took the car back very early in the morning so they fix the mess they did to my car. The work they did to my car was not worth the 32k labour they charged me and that was excluding the parts invoices from Ford. They couldn’t even look me in the eyes, when I recollected the car on the 12th of November 2025 because the same mistakes I had pointed out the day before they were still not fixed - they had to run around and fix the car while I wait again. The car is very dirty they **** that they took it to full valet - I still need to take it to full valet at my expense.

I recently had a claim with Naked Insure and the process was really smooth and seamless. They said I could take my car to BodyTech2000 in KEW Johannesburg. My car is a Polo TSI and it has that roof compartment where you can put sunglasses in. I had my HUGO BOSS Prescription glasses n that compartment. They are prescription sun glasses so i never remove them from that compartment because I wear them on occasion (out at the park, godlreef city etc) and this is why I never remove them from there. While the lady at reception was too quick to highlight that I confirmed to have removed all my valuables, it isn't unusual that one would forget something in their car. And apart from that, whether or not i confirm doesn't give anyone license to take something valuable if they find it in the car. I clearly forgot to remove them even though I said i had removed all valuable and that still doesn't justify theft. I got these prescription glasses at Spec Saver beginning of the year and they were expensive. I am shocked that loss or theft is treated so lightly. I am a customer and i shouldn't have my stuff being ****** from inside my car. This actually left a bad taste in my mouth. It doesn't even matter now the work they did on my car. This here has ruined that entire experience.

My car was there for 3 MONTHS. On return, an alarming screeching sound was coming from the site of repair. Have now been notified that it is the brakes which has been recently serviced and did not make this noise at the time of the car going into BodyTech. Rude and condescending.

It’s been a horrible experience, my car has been parked there for over a month. It’s a blame game between them and the insurance, no one wants to take accountability. I’m still waiting for car even up, very upset because it’s a minor damage 😡😡😡😡

I took my car to Bodytech 2000 for panel work last month. In addition to onsite inspection they encouraged at-home inspection for a more relaxed scrutiny. They were happy to repair the locking system when I reported it faulty three days later. Within two weeks of a newly painted car, I found my car scratched after parking in a shopping centre. I took it back to Bodytech 2000 and they offered to take care of it which they did at no cost. They also provided a lift in both directions to make the repair process hassle-free. My thanks go to Brandon and Chris as well as the drivers who restored my faith in the service industry.

Bodytech 2000 completed a repair job on my car. There was the usual poor communication. Several weeks after getting the car back (with a lifetime warranty), I revisted the shop a few weeks later. The bumper they had fitted was coming loose. Brandon Ebden assisted me and I waited while the workshop refit the bumper. Now the bumper came loose -- completely -- after minor connection with the sand on an uneven road. The company's director (Karam), who the techhie referred the matter to, flatly refuses to entertain the issue at first. Then he refuses to give me information about the proper channel for complaint (company or industry level).

I had the misfortune of someone rear-ending my car on 7 March this year whilst parked that caused major damage to the rear of my car and some minor damage to the front. Discovery Insure authorized my claim and the Car was sent to Bodytech 2000 for repairs. Ive entertained a lot of excuses for about 2 and a half months now, like parts being delayed, COVID, the war in Ukraine possibly. Then when the parts were assembled, they *****ed up again and had to respray the bootlid. Finally my car is delivered today, and I was surprised to find the minor damage to the front of my car had not been tended to at all, number plate still crumpled and clear damage to the bonnet. The parts that they did actually "fix" looks so shoddy I honestly feel like I could have done a better job. The boot just looks wrong, carpet lining's missing and carpet floor doesn't align like it used to. These guys were obviously not equipped/ skilled to work on this car, yet my Insurance picked them, you'll see a review on Discovery Insure shortly. I pity whoever has to have their car repaired at this panel beater.
