I don't usually like shopping at Pick n Pay Hyper in Norwood. Last time I was there I was very impressed with one of the staff - unfortunately, I did not get his name. On checking out I asked where to find the chocolates and he just took off to fetch me a Cadbury slab. I explained that I needed two slabs to get the discount. He charged off again to fetch a second slab - all in time for me to check out without holding up the queue.
I can't even give one star. My account experience with TFG has been nothing but a nightmare. I don't know if it's Bash or TFG but TFG appoints Bash as a payment platform. The first payment got lost and it took TFG 15 days to find the money. Since then I have tried to pay, one day before the deadline. Today being such a day I opened my account to pay in the Bash app, where it asks for a 19 digit account number. My account has only 17 digits so I can't continue with the process. I want this account to close as soon as possible and not have to experience the extreme displeasure anymore. TFG should be embarrassed and ashamed.
The team arrived on time, got to work and completed the job within the hour. The problem was resolved. I would have preferred if the quote process had been a little quicker.
I set up my TFG payment in BASH as recommended and requested by TFG. The first payment went through okay. The second payment paid on 30 April for 1 May also in BASH did not connect to my account. Tfg could not find my payment despite auto proof from the bank, repeat proof of payment from email on three occasions. Instead, I got SMS threats and demanding phone calls daily, to tell me my account was in arrears. Now it is May 13, and Foschini Group still have not found my payment. The statement for June is on its way with late payment collection charges. This has been the most frustrating and annoying experience and if possible, I would rather close my account and return the goods. Nightmare!
I had many hours of joy doing the Coastal Town puzzle. Puzzle pieces are precious and I checked them every day. In other words, when the pieces fell of the table I swept the floor each time after working on it. I could see early on that a piece was missing from the roofing section and hoped it would turn up at the end. I have checked every nook and cranny. Is it at all possible that there was a piece missing. It is such a beautiful puzzle and I would love to keep it whole, take it for framing and put it on the wall. With the piece missing its not going to work. I wish it could be different. Is this typical or a unique experience?
QS Security keeps a close check on the members at Virgin Active Old Eds. One evening on my way out when it was pouring with rain, they handed be an umbrella, trusting me to return it. ie no record of who had the item. A few days letter I left my gym bag in the parking area. QS picked it up a few minutes later and handed it in at reception. When I realised what I had done I was happy to find my gym bag in one peace, safely stored at the reception desk.
I took my car to Bodytech 2000 for panel work last month. In addition to onsite inspection they encouraged at-home inspection for a more relaxed scrutiny. They were happy to repair the locking system when I reported it faulty three days later. Within two weeks of a newly painted car, I found my car scratched after parking in a shopping centre. I took it back to Bodytech 2000 and they offered to take care of it which they did at no cost. They also provided a lift in both directions to make the repair process hassle-free. My thanks go to Brandon and Chris as well as the drivers who restored my faith in the service industry.
I asked them to review a high debit order much more than my average. After listening to my circumstances they were happy to oblige
Last month I did some painting. I looked at a few retailers for pricing and quality. Jack's Paint won the day with excellent service. Rachel in the paint section, added a personal touch and proved she had a thorough knowledge of paint. She was very helpful, very friendly and professional. This was at Jacks Paint in Bramley, Louis Botha Ave. Rachel is well worthy of an accolade.
After some prompting the service was good. There seemed confusion in communication having to send documents twice. However in the end the support from the team was excellent.
