Very bad experience with them in a simple process of obtaining a remote spare key for my vehicle . It was paid for up front , they could not make the key and after eight months of promises and unansweered phonecalls I eventually asked Niël to just reimburse my allmost three grand . He agreed but to date I have received no money . After numerous calls to Sylvia (mother) , still nothing . Which way should I go ???

We got a new key with transponder, no more than 5 months ago. Key just broke, a clean cut, the cut is so clean a person would say a machine cut it. No bends in the key nothing !!! Went to the store asking about the warranty, they don’t answer any questions they did not even look at the key, they just said R350 to fix it. Clearly the key was defective and they tried blaming it on us. Called Neil, explained the situation on the phone to which he sounded so understanding provided me with his WhatsApp number and aske to send the pictures. Took his own time to respond said yeah client uses lanyards that why the key breaks. We not in sales, we don’t drive a bakkie or truck to use a lanyard we drive a Kia Picanto, who uses a lanyard for such a small car matter of fact we don’t use lanyards for any of our keys. He had a nerve to say your husband was here this morning, my husband asked relevant question like what if this happens again they said then we just have to pay again. When I told him you can see the cut is clean he blue ticked me , tried calling him, again to which immediately he was out of office, spoke to Eugene, at the beginning did not know about any of this and saying Neil is not there to him stating the key is bended and Neil did inform him. Talking about its Monday and he don’t have time for this. What time of service is this that you give. And if Neil wasn’t in the office, how do you know the key was bended. And why when I ask if I can forward him the pictures he said no and got a real nasty attitude. We understand some customer can be difficult and make excuses but don’t try and label everyone the same. They manner in which he spoke is spoke is so unprofessional and disrespectful. Would not recommend anyone to go there at all. Big thank you to Sergio and Reggy for being so understanding can’t say the same for the other to arrogant people.

If I could give them 6 stars I would!! A family business that is not only knowledgeable in their line of work but they really care about their customers. Honest, kind, diligent and goes the extra mile. They don't give up when the job gets tough - they make a plan! An absolute pleasure dealing with them!

Just had a call out from a guy called "Wesley" from Bell City for a lost gate key. He came to my girlfriends place to replace the lock and blamed her for not bringing the correct lock and had such a rotten attitude that it left her in tears as he reluctantly got back in his car to get the correct lock. Phoned the store and spoke to a guy that admitted that this "Wesley" has problems with his temper after which i asked how that is a customers problem and suggested that they put this "Wesley through a disciplinary procedure as it does not matter what the situation is, you can not treat a customer the way he did. The guy i spoke to offered to come out himself, explaining that he had better patience than this "Wesley" after which i declined and told him that i will never make use of their services again. Put the phone down and thought that i would not leave it there and called back. When i called again, who would answer but none other than this "Wesley". He picks up the phone and i ask who i am speaking to and he once again with a rotten attitude says "well who do you want to speak to?" and i ask who it is that is speaking and he says "Wesley" I proceed to ask Wesley where he gets off on treating customers as he did my girlfriend and he goes on a very defensive rant and continues blaming my girlfriend for not giving him the correct info swearing every step along his rant, he asked if he could put me through to his manager but at this point i just put the phone down. Do not make use of these peoples services that make a customer feel like you owe them and have rotten attitudes like this, its disgusting and as i have read, Neil, the owners attitude is exactly the same

Ive been referred me to Bell city locksmiths for my car issue by Suzuki Blouberg. Firstly I had to phone 4 times to get an appointment. I got told I have to phone back on Thursday to see IF the guy wants to work on Friday or not. At last I got an appointment and went through from Blouberg. I left may car there on Thursday the 19th of July. They tell me it would take a day to fix and I will only be without a car on Thursday. The phone later that day to say they haven't found the problem yet can they keep the car. I give the go ahead. Friday we phone them to hear whats going on and I get told they have found the problem its going to cost me 3000 grand to fix. I say its fine. Saturday I don't hear from them. Monday afternoon after phoning them numerous times I can go fetch my car. I get home and assumed they tested my car. I suddenly have no lights or indicators. I phone them and Niel gets very rude, never apologises or tries to help. He says they did NOT start the car but everything worked. SO bottom line, they did not test their end product. Tuesday morning he shouts at my boyfriend and says we are bullying him and wanted to not help us although its HIS fault. I had to spend 600 rand on ubers to get this fixed. Not once an apology or sorry or anything just a horrible rude attitude towards us because he didn't do a proper job. I had to drive 2 mornings and 2 nights without lights or indicators in the dark with mist and this rude guy Niel doesn't even try to fix it the Tuesday I had to wait. I go to the shop on the 25th of July to get it fixed and he verbally attacks us along with his mother. Once again not a sorry or admitting his mistake or anything. Tells me because I am upset I have an attitude and he doesn't feel like helping me. WHAT type of service is this??? Disgusted and I will never go back to them.
