You know the saying, "it's all good until it isn't". As a long-standing customer of BTW Midrand, I recently had cause to purchase some rubber from them, namely, X1 racing cut slick rear, X2 Pirelli MT60's (front & rear) and X2 Kenda pitbike/scooter (front & rear) hoops. Succinctly the following: cut slick, brand new and fitted well (to rim I provided). Pirelli MT 60 rear, old dull, dusted tyre, sold as 'brand new' to rim I provided. Tyre loses air while bike is on paddock stands (bike never used with 'new' tyre - owner says, possibly a puncture ... try figure that one out). Scooter tyres, rear rim damaged, trying to lever tyre off rim, despite my informing staff of need to 'split rim'. Upon enquiry, (only about the rear Pirelli losing air, mind you) owner responds with a patronising e-mail, never pausing to investigate my circumstances regarding the purchases, my track record with BTW Midrand, or recent purchase history, with his understudy. My business, ladies and gents will be taken to a service provider who knows something about, and appreciates, customer support.

Worst experience I've ever had at a workshop. Rude mechanics who don't care about customers, who use universal parts rather than bike specific parts. Staff who pocket money and when asked about a product say "It's out of our hands". If you ever have the misfortune of having to work with them or take your bike to them, don't. Recently bought over by Bike and Tyre, and service is still dismal, payed for a part into their account, but apparently they still can't do anything about it, I've been struggling for two months only for them to tell me "It's not our problem". A massive joke of a business.

Had a set of BATT Tyres fitted to my sports bike. After using them for a couple of months find the handling and grip is poor, especially in the wet. Vibration at high speeds, but poor handling is the main problem. Great service at the dealership, but not a fan of these BATT Tyres.

Fitted a set of BATT Tyres on my Sportsbike, highly recommended by their salesman. They are TERRIBLE, poor grip & handling, especially in the wet, and vibration at high speeds. These BATT tyres are not at all worth their lower price, stick to known brands for tyre safety and performance. I'll have to replace them although new... not worth the risk buying untested brands.

Needed new rear for Triumph Rocket and got good price on ME888, normal good service from the guys, sat drinking complimentary coffee whilst they got onto job in hand. Correct tyre pressure, no dirty marks, nothing when wheeled out. Great.

I Purchased a set of Dunlop Trailmax missions in December 2020. I noticed that one of the treads was starting to tear away at the base. I took it back to Bike Tyre Warehouse and Bruce checked the tyre and then contacted Dunlop on my behalf to arrange a replacement. I want to thank Bruce and his team for their incredible service. Their service excellence is unparalleled. And if you have any questions regarding motorcycle tyres, Bruce has to be one of the most knowledgeable people I have met to date. I also want to thank Dunlop for replacing the tyre. I appreciate their willingness to put safety first. Regards RALPH
