Terrible experience at BMMPower! Brought in my BMW X1 2010 for timing chain diagnostics, but received no report despite being billed for the service. Their phone diagnosis was not only wrong but way off from the actual issue. Instead of addressing the timing chain problem as I suspected, they insisted it was a rod knock. Another mechanic later confirmed their incompetence as the issue wasn't rod knock at all! Still waiting for the report, but it's clear BMMPower's mechanics are clueless with BMWs. Don't risk your vehicle here—choose competence over chaos!

Good day All I am typing this with a heavy heart and service I received from BM Power. I have spoken to Charmaine Hamone and complained about BM Power giving me bad service. Charmaine instead of helping me she keep on sending me back to BM Power. Monday the 18/03:2024 Charmaine call them to give me a call. Elias call me not sure if he works there or what, However the Managing Director Tumelo he always give empty promises. I am asking King Price to RED FLAG BM Power. I paid R15000.00 for turbo repair and every time my car goes back to them they trying to create a problem to milk the warranty and now I am still stuck with the turbo leaking and coolant losing water since my car was started to be repaired by BM Power. I am frustrated for the past 3 months this is pathetic and frustrating everyday I must pour water in the car I paid R15000.00 and I don’t want to lose my cool for a court case with BM Power. I have been patient with them for 3 months and they give me run around. I also took the car to BMW for diagnostic again paid R1550 on the 08/03/2024 they still confirmed the Turbo is leaking inside pipes and BM Power keeps denying to fix my Car. What is sad is Charmaine Hamon say she is afraid they won’t refer customers to them but leave me in the dessert with unfixed car without calling them to be accountable. Now everyday I am calling texting like a madness person. I am asking someone at King Price who knows what they are doing to assist me with this matter . Tumelo and his Mechanics can’t fix the Car and keep on lying daily to fix. Assesor Robbie also went there and they never attempted to give Robbie a full report and keep charging for parts that do not exist. The problem is the turbo leaking pipes inside l. I also again took the car to Turbo Repairs at Boksburg referred by BmW Kempton park since they used them for repairing their parts and still same thing turbo leaking and Tumelo keep getting wrong information from stupid mechanics. Now since my car started with BM Power it’s been a nightmare in my life . I am asking Tumelo to refund me and get a better place to assist me or Warranty to give them a red flag before claim goes to Engine faulty. Very unhappy and frustrated with the service for the past 3 months it’s been a nightmare’s in my life with BM Power Wyberg. I cant be ****med 15000 and let it go

Very very bad workmanship. Absolutely no quality assurance at all. They broke other things in the process of fixing the original problem. Gave them enough time. I will not send my car back there again, not even for a minor service. Be warned.

Crooks, I took my BMW to BMM Power for an oil cooler replacement and general maintenence of which I supplied brand new parts, over two months and R23 000 later my car had no power, was leaking oil, it had a horrrible noice coming from the engine, hooter and the multifunctions on the steering wheel not working amongst a whole range of other faults which did not exist prior to me taking the vehicle to BMM Power and I was presented with a list of new parts to buy. Horrible experience.

I had dropped my vehicle off on Tuesday 5 December 2017 at BMM Power in Wynberg, Sandton for them to do a number of service related issues and repair a few parts on my vehicle. I had indicated to the Manager (George) that I will be traveling and will collect my car from them on the morning of Friday 8 December, providing them with 2 full days to complete the work. I had provided them with the list of service issues to be seen to and repaired on 2 occasions - Once telephonically on Tuesday 5 December and reiterated these in person when I dropped the car off on the same day. I was given an assurance by George that my vehicle will be ready "first thing" on the morning of Friday 8 December. Upon me calling them at 08h30 on Friday morning to advise them that I am on my way to collect the vehicle, I was told that there is just a small bit of work on the vehicle that needed to be completed and that the vehicle will be ready in one hour. I got to the workshop exactly an hour later only to find out that they had only just started working on the vehicle and none of the work that I requested was completed. I was blatantly lied to! After querying this incredibly appealing service, I was told that it would be ready in another hour and half. Only to be contacted an hour later and told that they cannot source the spares that was required and that there will be an additional delay. I was called again about an hour later and informed that the spares have been sourced and given a price for the spares. I accepted the price quoted for the spares in desperation for my vehicle to be completed and returned to me as I needed it for the weekend. I subsequently called a family member who deals in BMW spares to find out what BMW charges for the spares that I require. I then realised that I was completely ripped off as BMM Power had charged me more than double what BMW themselves would have charged me for the spares that I required! Not only was the service massively delayed, I was also lied to and ripped off! Please be mindful of this if you ever intend using BMM Power. It is really not worth it...
