I sent my car to BMW Supertech Newcastle in January 2025, and it took them nearly 4 months to complete the repairs – well beyond the promised deadline. When I finally received the car, the paintwork was poorly done, and the boot was misaligned. A staff member advised me to take it to another panel beater closer to me, so I drove from Pretoria to Randburg, taking time off work – only to discover even more issues with the vehicle. After raising my concerns again, the representative arranged to collect my car and sent me a temporary replacement vehicle, promising it would arrive with a full tank of fuel. It arrived empty, and I had to fill it myself. I was told I would be reimbursed, but to date, I’ve only received excuses and delays. More serious concerns arose when I checked the tracking data for my vehicle — it had been driven at speeds of up to 150km/h while being transported between Pretoria and Newcastle, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the temporary car they gave me also had mechanical issues. I reported the problems, and I was told to push the fuel pump wires behind the seat myself just to get the car running. While driving, the car even displayed drivetrain malfunction warnings, which made me feel unsafe. This entire process has been frustrating and disappointing. I was without my own car for months, relying on Uber and borrowing cars from friends, which came at a cost. And yet, when it came time to pay the R11,000 insurance excess, I paid it immediately without delay. I chose BMW Supertech Newcastle based on positive recommendations, but I will never trust or recommend them again. The experience has been full of false promises, poor workmanship, and a complete lack of accountability. This has been the worst vehicle repair experience I’ve ever had.

I have never experienced such poor service, delays and replacement of unjustified bumper. My car was hit from behind with minor scratches on the boot and bumper with only a boot not opening when opened with a remote or from inside the car. First, Supertech did not fix the boot in two months but went ahead and added replacement of bumper with minor scratches as opposed to painting it as the scratches were so small and no lights were affected. In the two months my car battery power depleted and now they want me to pay for its replacement while the car is in their possession. To make things worse, my Standard bank insurance has not done anything to intervene even after raising a complaint with them for close to a month

Very disappointed and furious with BMW Supertech Durban! My Vehicle went in for mechanical issues which by the way wasn't done because they where to busy trying to repair my car from the damage that they have caused by smashing my car in their workshop and doing body work and paint work without my consent. They then continued to be dishonest to me and tell me that they have done me a favor by fixing some other damage that the car previously had. The repair wasn't done well. In this company there is nobody that cares. As a customer I did not feel prioritized and have not received a sincere apology, my vehicle is sitting with the dealership from 13th December 2022 and presently still with them. I have not received one phone call from anyone in management to tell me about my car and months are passing by and I the customer is paying for a vehicle that I don't have. They have painted the vehicle and the paintwork is still incorrect. This is unacceptable! And a Joke! I would not recommend any of my friends and family to support such a dishonest and unreliable company. I will make my experience public and show footage of how they treat our vehicles at Supertech Arc, it is disgusting and filthy. I'm done keeping quiet and BMW SUPERTECH just takes advantage of my good nature. I have given enough time to rectify the situation. It's almost half a year I'm without my vehicle.

I would like to issue a statement regarding the extremely poor service by BMW East London. My car was brought in for actuator replacement and gasket replacement, poor communication was also noticed as well, as when I was enquiring about updates the service rep was never available and not responding to emails. Upon receiving my car, within 5 km of driving I discovered car oil sensor alarm was popping up on car screen and I told them they didn't put oil they denied it, I poured oil and still alarm persisted until I took it to Grahamstown for checks and all to discover that oil was leaking all over the vehicle due to extremely incompetent service and negligence. I am going to report them to BMW Germany head quarters and to media and will take them to court they will pay for the suffering they caused to me and my family,
