I checked in at Bolivia Lodge on Monday the 31st of January 2022 late at night. When I arrived I had smelly pillows but I left them because it was late and I thought housekeeping will change them in the morning. I had an online class so after class our helper told me that they only took the towels. I then went to Salome Monama to inform her that the pillows smell bad and she was very rude. I went to fetch the four pillows so they could hear the unbearable smell, Criselda said I should put the pillows down and then head of housekeeping gave me new pillows. The second incident happened today, the housekeeping woman came at 10am and told me to remove everything on my bed because she wanted to make the bed which I did. She left for almost 3 hours because she came back at 12:55pm, when she came back I had removed my stuff on the floor and put them back on the bed because my son wanted to sleep so there was no linen on the bed I had to use my own blanket which I brought from home. The lady came and removed my stuff from the other bed, she put my sons chair upside down and put his white vest on the chair which was shocking because chairs are not clean underneath. When I asked her she became defensive and we had an argument, the lady called Salome Monama and when we got there she said “Told we will chase this girl out”. Salome Monama from Bolivia Lodge undermined me and she has been rude from Tuesday. I will never stay at Bolivia Lodge ever again

I booked two days stay at Bolivia lodge Polokwane. 25 and 26 September 2020. 1st night was a disaster. We didn’t sleep the whole night. The was noise on the bed was son was sleeping on. Only to find out it was rats as there was rats poo on the bed and the floor. We were at unit 28. We reported in the morning and we were moved to another unit. The worst part of it we didn’t receive call of apology. Bad experience at Bolivia

Bolivia Lodge has good facilities and beautifully kept gardens. The conference rooms are well maintained and offer the standard conference requirements (water, pens, notepads) and have screens for projectors as well as air conditioning and sufficient electrical outlets. The tea/coffee and juice station is cleared out and replaced often. The dining hall is big and allows for different groups to meet and greet. The food is always exceptional - delicious and filling - and the desserts vary each time but the standard is always high. My favorite is their malva pudding and hot custard and ice cream, but I have recently also loved their lemon cheesecake The facilities are super clean and the staff is responsive and respectful. It is a good place to go for a conducive meeting and there are many gals available. If you're staying over or have a late or early meeting, there is the lodge side for accommodation

Accomodation not up to standard. Where do you find 3 star grade lodge that does'nt even have charging facilities for a cellphone/ipad at R 870 per night for a single person. And then you have to pay R20 for a two point plig! The aircon did'nt work. Maintenance game and clean it out..and pushed a piece of toilet paper to the flap to keep it open. Used toothpick papers lying around. Really not value for money and will not recommend it for overnighters.
