I ordered and paid per EFT for an item on 22 November 2020, but could in no way establish any contact since. Neither would the provided phone number be responded to. This is absolutely poor service and seems to be a scam. Be very careful when doing business with Braaishop!!!

I also fell in the trap of many other people before reading the reviews. Can people be so ruthless?? I've ordered on the 7th August 2020 ans immediately receive order and pro forma invoice. I paid the amount of R1177 and taht was the end of the story. I phoned a couple of times and was lucky to get thru on the 17th August ans speak to K****tso. I was told they were waiting for stock which they received on Friday the 14th and that my order will go out the same week. Well nothing happened and ever since the phone just rings and no response. Sometimes we feel we must support local business and then this happens. Makes me sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had bought goods from this online store before reading the reviews on hellopeter. When I didn't get an immediate response or parcel tracking number from them after I had paid the invoice, I searched for their reviews here and when I saw how negative 99% of them are I was shocked to my core, believing that I had just been scammed out of my hard earned money. So I quickly set about calling my bank to get the EFT payment reversed, opened a fraud case at my local police station and sent a sworn affidavit to the bank. When I did finally hear from the business owner (via email) about delivering my goods, I thought he was just keeping the scam alive and really did not expect the goods to be delivered. In fact I thought he was just making things worse for himself and giving me more evidence to use, to prove that it's a fraudulent business when the goods never arrive. To my surprise he called me, 2 working days later than when the goods were originally set to be delivered, to clarify my address so that he can personally deliver my goods as his employees had struggled to find my home over the last 2 working days. He actually did deliver the goods, exactly what I ordered and it all seems to be in good condition. I told him about my experience and what I thought was going on in terms of it being a scam and that he needs to manage his business's profile/reviews on hellopeter.com. He advised that there seems to be a number of misunderstandings that are not always clarified. He then also told me that you (a customer) can opt to rather pay for goods on delivery - cash on delivery. I have since phoned my bank to advise them of the delivery of goods and that I am withdrawing the fraud case. This all happened in the space of just over a week (9. days), from order to delivery. I really wish he would take to managing the reviews he gets on here, as people trust what they read on hellopeter. I'm so glad I wasn't scammed - it would have been a first.

Braaishop.com is an absolute disgrace to e-commerce! As so many before me I ordered from the store - got immediate invoicing and payment was done within a hour after receiving the pro-forma invoice. This was the last I saw or heard from them. Numerous Phone calls and e-mails later we are still waiting on a reply. Looking at the posts on HelloPeter, I notice a pattern, and will lodge a formal complaint regarding Fraud at the Police today.

Braaishop.com is an absolute disgrace to e-commerce! As so many before me I ordered from the store - got immediate invoicing and payment was done within a hour after receiving the pro-forma invoice. I wish that I had read the previous reviews on Hellopeter! I ordered a thermometer from Braaishop.com on 22 May 20. I received confirmation of my order and paid by EFT. I was informed 3 weeks ago that my item was being sent via courier... When I followed up after a week later and asked for the waybill so that I could track the order, I received no response and havent received any response to the subsequent 3 emails sent.... Be warned... these guys are thieves it appears. The sales manager K****tjo - k****tjo@braaishop.com - does not respond to emails, the telephone number given rings, goes to a voice mail saying that the mail box is full and to try again later.... I will be reporting this matter to the police so hopefully no one else gets conned!!!!
