In 2021 I submitted a claim for Covid on my Income Protector.I have a 7 day waiting period. Brightrock backdated the waiting period and paid for 10 days. In 2025 I submitted another Covid Claim. This time Brightrock did not backdate the waiting period and paid 2 days. Brightrock claimed that during the Covid Pandemic a special concession was made regarding the waiting periods. In the email received in 2021 nothing was mentioned regarding this special concession. After the Pandemic no email was sent informing me that any concession on my Income Protector was revoked. I am very unhappy with the fact that BrightRock can make any policy change without informing me in advance.
