Ordered and paid for a part giving all the vin and engine numbers plus merc part number. Got no response. Contacted daily for two weeks. Eventually got a delivery of a completely different part. Now fighting for my money back or the right part.

Brits Auto, also known as Haval/GWM Brits & Honda Brits, had the most unpleasant experience, I bought a motorcycle without viewing or inspecting it, got home and noticed all the issues, it was leaking oil, the ignition was faulty and the tires completely worn, also big dent in the fuel tank, first they send me to get a quote for repairs, which they decline to pay and suggest I bring the bike back, secondly they wanted to sell it to another client and have the client refund me, when I declined and requested they must refund me and not another buyer, they stated they will refund me but deduct an admin fee of R2160.36. Do not buy motorcycles from Honda Brits, you will get something that's not up to standard and they will not give you a full refund, would not be surprised if they do the same with cars.

Tried plenty of spares shops in Joburg Central and couldn't find the accelerator pedal for my Fiesta. Their staff is so helpful, they found one (in a different branch) in less than 30 minutes and even gave me free delivery. I'm happy.

Bought a POLO from Nissan, It was a Trade inn for a Discount price. They Told me the Turbo was replaced and Not the Motor. Motor Ceased! Engine number on Block and Disc/Natis not the same. Turned Out the engine replacement was done by them. Engine number on the Block doesn't even look Original. Looks like the Skipped Police Clearance and the whole legal process!! They don't want to Refund Us!! Nissan doesn't want to refund us for car.

On the 11th of June 2022 I purchase a used ford eco-sport from Ford Brits Used, and when I took the car they told me the previous owner still needs to bring the service book and they will send it to me when they receive it, I stay in Gauteng region so they told me I will need to go to register the car at a Gauteng region myself and once I have registered they will refund me the money. I did send the sale person who was assisting me the new Gauteng registration and prof of payment after I was done. The guy stopped responding to my calls and texts. In just a month that I had this car I told him the car has funny noises coming from it, and being a woman I could not really explain it. I did tell him that at that point I was even scared to drive the car, and this sales guy still ignored my texts and calls. I was left frustrated at that point and was working in the KwaZulu Natal area during that time I could not travel back and go to the dealership. 5 months later still no communication and totally being ignored. I then received a call from Ford to check if all is well and at that moment they told me the sales guy is not working there anymore, and they will get the used car sales manager to contact me about all these complains and I never received the call. I had to call twice with follow up and still nothing. At the end I had to ask my dad to take this car to Ford as I could not go personally due to work, and we were told we need to bring it in, still no service book for history of the car sold to me. I took the car to Ford on the 8th of November and with something that is an ignorance on their side they are now trying to blame me yet even though as a consumer I have right to return the car if it has a break down within 6 months of purchasing it. At this point I am frustrated without a car and also very frustrating for my son as I am unable to drop him and pick him up from day care. They still have not fixed the car, they always giving me run arounds and still no real story on the service history of this car. They could not even offer me a loan car from them as this is all their fault, however I might even have to pay this month for a car that Ford Brits took saying they will fix and at this point I do not even believe they have started fixing because their explanation is just not making sense. I had to even get my partner and father to assist because I felt undermined being a black female having to deal with a white dominated dealership , totally felt like they do not even take me serious and they just do not even care.

Terrible no appalling service from GWM/Haval Brits (Brits Auto). My P Series LT Double cab was brought into the branch due to a faulty radiator fan on 1 August 2022. As the bakkie is still new (4 months old not even 7000km on the clock) they were able to do a warranty claim and order the part. When asked when the part will arrive the date jumped from 16 Aug, 31 Aug, 5 September and now 10 September. I understand that there is a backlog when it comes to parts for GWM even a few Toyota and Ford owners are also struggling. My complaint is that I am now without wheels. A courtesy bakkie was arranged but it was a single cab, we are 3 people and it just wouldn't work as I have an elderly mother that needs assistance. So who was going to sit on the back of the bakkie? I respectfully declined and asked for an alternative even if it's not a Bakkie. A Haval H2 was then arranged that I was very thankful for. Late afternoon, day before I was supposed to collect the courtesy car I was informed that the deal is off as the car has been sold. It's been 10 days and still no car or even feedback from the branch regarding my bakkie or a courtesy car. Is this because the bakkie wasn't purchased from that branch and now they don't care to assist? There are 3 Available vehicles at that branch, H6, Haval Jolion and a P Series but they are ONLY allocated to the sales consultants and the manager NOT A PAYING CUSTOMER.

I bought a 2014 Nissan X-trailcar at Brits Auto delearship on the 10th of October 2017. In December it starting having problems and I was told by Steve that I must remember it was a used car. The car is spending more time in the workshop for repairs than when it is with me. Now they say I must pay additional R63 000 to replace a part which will be the second time I pay in a period of 2 months. I already paid paid R8000 for the ECU. Steve is very arrogant and selfish. He doesn’t want to escalate my complain to anyone else because he pride himself by his famous words “ I dealt with problems like this before”. People please be careful of this kind of bad treatment.
