I recently purchased a 3D printer from BuildVolume, and within 7 days, I requested a refund due to improper printing. Despite being a large-scale company with three branches nationwide and providing services to some of the biggest companies in South-Africa, their customer service has been nothing short of **********. After returning the printer, their technical team barely tested it. They ran a few prints that took maybe 10 minutes, even though I provided evidence of hours-long prints failing. Despite this, they claimed there was nothing wrong with the printer. I was willing to pay for an acrylic top panel I slightly damaged (which I openly admitted in my initial refund request), but what followed was complete chaos. For over a month and two weeks, I have been chasing them for my refund. BuildVolume repeatedly claimed they were waiting for a response from Creality. However, when I reached out to Creality myself, they rep**** in less than 10 minutes, providing all the necessary information, including the price and shipping for the replacement part. Creality even followed up three days later, wondering if I still needed assistance—meanwhile, BuildVolume remains silent. On top of this, BuildVolume charges a 10% accounting fee on refunds, which is outrageous for such expensive orders. To pay that and receive this kind of service is simply unacceptable. In summary, BuildVolume offers abysmal communication and poor service, completely failing to deliver the level of support you would expect from a company of their size. I’m sharing this to warn others—don’t be misled by their scale. You’ll get far better service elsewhere. A company I can whole heartedly recommend is 3D Store.

it was an absolute pleasure to deal with them. i was assisted at every step. they even took the time to find out what machine i was using and readjust my order to the correct parts. friendly active service liaison. i highly recommend them for help parts and service

It's been a long and unproductive wait—112 days with no clear resolution in sight. We've been told that the mainboard of our Ultimaker 3 Extended needs replacing, yet the process drags on. Despite assurances rom Ultimaker that the part is in stock in the Netherlands and could be airfreighted within a maximum of seven days, progress remains stalled. This level of service is profoundly disappointing, especially given the high cost of the machine.

Bought a 3D printer from these guys. Printer was running perfectly but then ran into an issue I couldn't fix. They were super helpful and efficient sorting out my problem in no time. What a great bunch of people and an awesome supplier to have around the corner from me. Thank you Hendrik Swart for amazing service.

Bought a 3D printer from these guys. Printer was running perfectly but then ran into an issue I couldn't fix. They were super helpful and efficient sorting out my problem in no time. What a great bunch of people and an awesome supplier to have around the corner from me. Thank you Hendrik Swart for amazing service.

It is not everyday u stumble onto a company with such high standards towards customer satisfaction. I'm not the easiest customer but here i found a company with a great team for support. thank you to everyone working at build volume. These guys are excellent, Absolutely stunning service. Spoke to Don via their web chat, he sent a quote, then a proforma invoice on the 3rd of November 2021 14:20, placed my order, paid via fnb standard payment (not express) at 15:00, confirmed pop received), less than 24 hours later order received in Durban 4th November 11:30. Wow, just wow. Creality Ender 3 v2 with everything I needed to get started. Printing already, thank you guys. I would highly recommend you to anyone I know. I never give 5 stars reviews to anyone ever, but this level of service is second to none. Please keep it up.
