I had a problem with a braai, and I emailed them to sort it out. Their very helpful technician came out and helped however I still wasn’t happy. The company went above and beyond and replaced the braai with a new one. Amazing customer service.

We purchased a Born Free Adventure Stove in December 2024. We used it for the first time on a 6 week long camping trip in May. The stove was dangerously faulty from the first time we tried to use it, with a leaking hose connection (the hose that joins the two plates) and one plate that did not work. We did not use at all for the rest of the trip (luckily we had a second, small hiking stove with us as well). Since we got back, I have tried to get a replacement from Cadac and have been either ignored or fobbed off. Utterly unacceptable customer service from a brand that I though I could trust.

My Cadac braai shows problems with corroded pipes. I asked the company whether repair is possible. They did not care simply ignoring my question. It appears customer service does not exist. Will buy new braai from one of their competitors.

I recently purchased a 2-Plate Gas Stove with Hose and Regulator, along with a 9kg Cadac gas cylinder, from Makro. When I got home, I discovered that the hose and regulator supp**** with the stove do not fit the 9kg cylinder. I immediately contacted Cadac for assistance, only to be met with extremely rude and unhelpful service from two representatives. I was told that the regulator “does not fit a 9kg cylinder” and that I now need to buy a different regulator. This is unacceptable. The inconvenience this has caused is frustrating. Why must I return to Makro and spend more money because the product is misleadingly advertised? I asked why the box did not clearly state that the supp**** regulator is incompatible with a 9kg Cadac cylinder. The representative responded by saying that this information is “in the manual”. The stove was sealed in a taped box. Was I expected to open and read the manual before purchasing? This is unreasonable and illogical. Now I am left with a hose and regulator that are useless, and I’m expected to buy another one? The lack of transparency in the packaging is misleading, and I strongly believe this amounts to misleading advertising. I will also be escalating this matter to the Consumer Protection authorities. I have always viewed Cadac as a trusted, reputable brand , one we grew up with in our homes. This experience has left me extremely disappointed, not only with the product information but also with the poor, dismissive customer service. I expect Cadac to take responsibility and provide an appropriate resolution.

I wish I came here to read reviews before I bought the cadac roll gas heater 3 bars) and gas bottle ( 5kg).The heater switches on for a maximum of 3-5 minutes.I sent two emails to their customer service and no reply for over a month.I remember there was a sale when I wanted the heater and I opted for cadac as I thought was a trusted brand.I regret every day because maybe if I had bought another brand we would be warm now.

I bought a Cadac Compact Roll-About Gas Heater on 10 June 2025 from Game Store in Centurion. And it blew up on 25 June 2025 in our Bedroom. Both my wife and I are lucky to be alive. It was the most scary situation we ever experienced. So, please be aware of the heater if you want to buy one. I took it back to the store the following day and was refunded in full as we did not want another one Product code: 942- MINI Bar code: 6001773107709
