I absolutely USED to love Cafe Fino at Retail Crossing... but I can’t deny that this was one of the worst mornings ever. We waited 45 minutes for subpar breakfast. Throughly disgusted at the shocking service and the owner slash manager that can’t walk in through the chairs cause he is a big as a house had the audacity to say to us. “It’s not that bad”. Also 45 minutes wait for a fruit salad???? I will tell everyone how I would rather eat at the wimpy next door.

<p>Been supporting Cafe Fino for more than 20 years now. Yesterday when I left, a waiter came running to me asking if i paid my account.. this particular waiter has been serving me several times before. Such an humiliation!!! How can he think that i would not pay my account. When speaking to the manager, she had a smile on her face... and apart from this insidence their service is very poor. The manager (young girl) could care less that i've been humiliated infront of all the other customers. I will never support them again and make sure the word is spread. The waiter didnt even aplogized to me and he is another youngster! The manager (young girl) just said when i left...'sorry about that'.</p>

Food was left under warmer with Salad for 20 minutes and when asking for Fresh food or we will leave, we were told we could leave. We still had the decency to pay for our coffee. Have never experienced such poor, unprofessional disgusting service ever. Please dont eat there ever as you will be extremely disappointed!!

Hello there,<br> <br> I went to the Cafe Fino to purchase muffins and I left the muffins there due to the muffins being stale and also the attitude of the owner informing me that he was running at a loss anyway and the strike at the university was effecting his business. Basically making his problem, my problem.<br> I feel that customer service should be 100% whenever you have a business and you are providing a service to anyone.<br>

Yesterday morning, Sunday 12 April 2015, my husband and I wanted to have breakfast at this specific restaurant after completing the Zoo Trot which is a monthly event. We were seated and handed menus at 08:30am and after approximately 15 minutes we had not been attended to at all. To be honest, no waiters was even passing our table for the whole 15 minutes we sat there. Usually in summer the restaurant is quite busy with everyone wanting to have breakfast after completing the Zoo Trot, but when we got there yesterday morning the restaurant wasn't very busy so we were quite amazed that no one bothered to come and take our orders in the whole time we were sitting there. My husband had to get up and go and call a waiter who then came to take our order. Expecting the service to be slow we ordered hot drinks as well as our food at the same time. At 09:10am (40 minutes after we were seated) we still hadn't received our drinks so we decided to leave and go and have breakfast at another restaurant.
