Cape Town Refrigeration : Stay away from them !!
A 1-star rating is too much !! Stay away from these ****MERS !!!! Our fridge was "repaired" by their Technician, and given a 6-months guarantee. After not even 1 month the fridge stopped working. Called the company & Technician several times, they don't answer calls, nor respond to messages or emails. Had to pay someone else to come repair my fridge, only to find out that they did a short-cut repair, cut wires to the compressor, then reconnected wires to PC board (clearly for a quick-fix), charged for regas (which wasn't done), and replaced new filter (where?) for which I paid close to R 1 700,00

I wished I had review them on hello peter before doing business with them. Biggest ****mers with a one man show. They came out te repair my fridge, and when they left there were *****s lying around. My fridge door could not close all the way and my fridge is still not working. I have phones over 40 times and the ignore me. And I lost R3000-00. PLEASE STAY AWAY PS: Thanks to them from now on I only do bussiness with people after I consults hello peter

This is a ****. Technician came out to fix a damaged gas line on a Hisense fridge charged my Daughter R1000 . Fridge worked for 1 day. When we contacted the gentleman he put the phone down and did not answer his phone again. Hisense confirmed the fridge cannot be repaired this way. Stay away do not deal with this person. also operate under a few names including wellies refrigeration

This is a ****. Technician came out to fix a damaged gas line on a Hisense fridge charged my Daughter R1000 . Fridge worked for 1 day. When we contacted the gentleman he put the phone down and did not answer his phone again. Hisense confirmed the fridge cannot be repaired this way. Stay away do not deal with this person. also operate under a few names including wellies refrigeration

DO NOT ever use Cape Town Refrigeration capetownrefrigeration.co.za We paid them to repair our freezer. It worked for a day but now keeps tripping the power. They came back once and since ignoring our phone calls. Well, the first call is answered and as soon as he hears the request the call dropped and never gets answered again. I used 3 numbers. Turns out, after getting another repairer, that the compressor soldering is done so bad that all the oil leaked out and the brand new compressor, Cape Town Refrigeration installed, burned out. Terrible service. Our fridge stopped working a day after they repaired it. Requested an immediate payment, which we honored. However, they told us on at least 4 occasions they are coming to fix it but no one rocks up.

Absolutely appalling. Was asked to go to our student digs (19 students) to urgently regas and/or repair one of the fridges. They completed their "repair" and all seemed well, They requested immediate EFT which I duly did. I was really confident as they offer a warrantee on all their work. True as Bob, the next day the fridge no longer worked again. I have been in constant contact with Willis for over 10 days. The first few conversation he assured me he was on his way...and no one ever arrived, He has now blocked me on all platforms and the fridge continues not to work. BE WARNED!!!!

Terrible Service- Stay Away ****MERS
I am utterly disgusted at this company does not deserve a rating at all. A bunch of ****** with a rude attitude and poor customer care. how on earth they still work on people’s appliances l don’t know. Technicians came out to repair my freezer on the 31st March 2023 . They told me the fridge was blocked and needed to clean the pipes. And assured me the gas was fine and there was no need to regas. I paid them R1850 without an invoice being issued. I was told I would receive an invoice, that their workmanship had a 6 month warranty and that I should contact them if the freezer was still not working. The freezer worked for 2 weeks and started giving the same issue they claimed to have resolved. I called and messaged them numerous times and after hounding them for days they eventually showed up. On the second time what they said they fixed was utter BS. They had no clue on what need to be fixed immediately after they left my fridge was making a loud noise which they claim the issue was already there. So my question was what did u then fix if u knew the issue was there. After getting a second opinion from a reputable company l was informed they did quick fix and ran with the money. I regret not reading previous reviews from other dissatisfied customers before using this bogus company. They are a bunch of ***** who once they pocket ur your money, have absolutely no intention of repairing their poor workmanship. They have since blocked my numbers. But l will not let this slide l will expose them for what they really are.*****STERS Please people stay away.
