Really great explanation and seemingly good service from Jaco Naude. I haven't claimed yet but the introductory call and communication is good.
Terrible service. Our fridge stopped working a day after they repaired it. Requested an immediate payment, which we honored. However, they told us on at least 4 occasions they are coming to fix it but no one rocks up.
I don't often check all the charges that go off on my day-to-day account, however was recently very shocked to see that FNB charged me several times for failed payments. One of the failed payment charges was R200 - how do you justify that?? Clearly you know I do not have money in my account but still have the audacity to charge me R200 (which was only ONE of the multiple charges). And no, this was not a debit order that was going off, it must have been a simple card payment at Pick n Pay or some retailer. That is daylight *******. I am already charged over R400 a month for my account (Private Client account). I also have no access to a "private banker" because when I select "private advisor chat" on the app, nothing happens. So I have a private client account for nothing because I still have to go through the normal contact methods. Honestly, sis on you FNB.
My fiance and I have been waiting for a refund since March 2020 - and unfortunately we just keep getting referred to different email addresses (my fiance even went to their offices at the airport to try get a resolve). Still no resolve and it's becoming so frustrating, beyond measure!
Their support is really not great. Just trying to get the documentation to process the refund is a nightmare. Really not impressed with their service & tickets are not cheap so really stressful process.

I tried to cancel my Mom's contract for a mobile router that she took out a few years ago (which should be on a 24 month contract) but we never renewed the contract after that - so does that automatically get renewed again without her permission?? Sounds unlawful to me. It should automatically go onto a prepaid after the agreed contract period NOT just renewed for an extended 24 month period. So now one person at Vodacom is telling me we can cancel it now in Feb, and the cancellation department is telling me that only in Feb 2022. PATHETIC pathetic service. I am so glad I am with MTN,
Shocking shocking service. I called in to report a fault with a sleeper couch which I had purchased the year before, to be told that I can only whatsapp the customer care. The sleeper couch is so uncomfortable and so poorly designed that I am experiencing back ache from sitting on it for short periods of time. Needless to say that it has been MONTHS and no one has gotten back to me. Now I am sitting with a couch I am unhappy with and is most likely our of warrantee.
If MTN calls me again... I cannot deal. Your agents are very pushy!
I get calls from Foschini AT LEAST 3 times a day - just stop.
