TAAG Angola and MyTrip did not want to refund (455.94 USD) I booked a flight from Lagos to Cape Town on the 3rd of April via MyTrip scheduled for the 12th of April. The booking code for the flight is DUAJK3, and the ticket number is: 169-9493577462 Unfortunately the flight was cancelled by the airline two days before departure on the 10th of April. I initially requested for rebooking, but due to the delay from the airline and MyTrip, I requested for a refund on the 21st of April and look for an alternative to travel to Cape Town. 11 days down the line, I am yet to receive a refund. A customer agent from MyTrip stated that the delayed refund is from the airline, as they are waiting for authorisation for the refund from the airline. What is taking TAAG Angola this long to give authorisation and make a refund. Today makes it exactly 22 days since TAAG Angola cancelled the flight and still no refund. I will be making an official complaint with the NCAA if my case is not treated with urgency as it looks like both TAAG Angola did not want to take responsibility and make a refund.

A joke of an airline — stay away. If you decide to book a flight with TAAG, make absolutely sure you double-check the return month before proceeding with payment. The system can switch to the following month on the return leg without making it clear, which can easily be missed during booking. This leads to costly changes and additional fees to correct the dates. Very disappointing experience.

A joke of an airline — stay away. If you decide to book a flight with TAAG, make absolutely sure you double-check the return month before proceeding with payment. The system can switch to the following month on the return leg without making it clear, which can easily be missed during booking. Leaving South Africa to Luanda, plane was scheduled for 16:40, a day before departure times were changed to 17:40. Times were changed again to 16:40 but no notification was sent on these changes. I got to the check in point where I was met by an extremely rude TAAG employee because I was delaying them to close the gate! You are offering a service and customer relationship management should be part of this, no? I was stunned by this customer service. Coming back to SA, I had 2 bags, 1 had 3kgs excess and the other had 4kgs excess. They calculated and put on one receipt, 1 was asked to pay Kz52000, almost a R1000 for the 7kg, after paying, I was then told oh it’s for 1 bag, 3-10 kg is Kz52000. Like wow! Couldn’t that have been communicated before I paid so that I can leave some things? They didn’t seem to care, which made me to have a very bad experience with TAAG staff. Disappointed considering it was my first time in Angola and to use TAAG Airlines

We were traveling on Wednesday the 3rd of December and we had booked return tickets fly in on 3rd coming back on the 4th so in the morning we got message to say the change the time for our flight for the next day that we must accept they apologe , then we make different arrangements to accommodate the change they made ,and then we went to the Airport 10 minutes later of our check-in they could not help us they show no sympathy in helping us the plane still had 40 minutes before taking off however we had to understand earlier same day for the message we got for them to change our flight time but they could not allow us to get in the plane and then we understood so we took a bus to get on our destination, and then on the day they change my time of flying guess what they were charging me 50 dollars for the flight I did not take then we paid because we just wanted to come back home and now we arrive my luggage was not put on the plane ,, I tell you i have use many airlines company but taag is worst of Company... they are unreliable they only work for themselves and only help people they know ...

I’m extremely frustrated with the service I’ve received from TAAG Airlines. I tried to buy a ticket on their website and the site crashed during the payment. I didn’t get any confirmation, so I assumed the payment hadn’t gone through. I tried again, and the same thing happened. Only later did I see that both payments were deducted from my account, yet I still never received a booking confirmation or reference number. I have tried several times to get help from TAAG to sort this out, but I cannot get any assistance from anyone. All I want is: My flight booking confirmed, or A refund for the double payment if no booking exists. This has caused a huge amount of stress and inconvenience, and the lack of response from TAAG is unacceptable. I just want this resolved as soon as possible.

Seats are also extremely uncomfortable. Rather go with another airline, this Taag airline is super *****.

My flight was canceled by TAAG Iarlines in end of April. After completing all the refund documents and sending it back to them I still haven't received my refund 4 months later. They just keep saying the refund is on its way. Do not fly with this airline. Bad Service, Bad Communication, Delayed flights and the list goes on.

My flight was canceled by TAAG Iarlines in end of April. After completing all the refund documents and sending it back to them I still haven't received my refund 4 months later. They just keep saying the refund is on its way. Do not fly with this airline. Bad Service, Bad Communication, Delayed flights and the list goes on.

I have been one of TAAG top promoters. Many will agree. However. The fish rots from the head down. I have UMBI UMBI miles which are now expiring in July because whenever I want to use them, im told I can not as there are no tickets or upgrades available on my dates! But on the 10 July LUANDA TO LISBON there was a family with 3 children the "chef" casually, just before take off took them to be seated in business class!!

I have been one of TAAG top promoters. Many will agree. However. The fish rots from the head down.
