I am very disappointed in the service I have received from The Capetonian Hotel and the Capetonian on the Square Restaurant (the restaurant inside the hotel)
A group of friends and I decided on eating at their restaurant on Saturday- 8th April 2023 and all 5 of us got sick. The symptoms included: vomiting, runny tummies, feeling nauseous and having headaches. We were all in flat in bed for over 5 days - due to being sick which we were told could be food poisoning. A complaint was made to the hotel and the restaurant. The chef got in touch and stated that he would solve the problem out and get back to us, but no feedback or correspondence was ever made to me again.
It has been 2 months now and I find it highly unprofessional.
Their kitchen needs urgent scrutiny in making sure the food they serve to people are sanitary as I don't think it's fair that they are serving food that are making customers sick.
