Good home-made pasta dishes, large portions. Pleasant attentive staff. They don't charge corkage, which is always a plus for me. The only downside is the restaurant is very noisy, but I believe the owners are aware of the problem and are addressing it.

I recently visited this restaurant with high expectations, but what I witnessed was appalling. We waited for our food for almost 3hrs. The manager's behavior towards the staff was completely unacceptable. They were yelled at, sworn at, and treated with utter disrespect. The staff were visibly shaken and in panic mode throughout our visit. While the food might have been decent, the toxic atmosphere and poor management overshadowed any potential positives. No one deserves to be treated like this, especially not in a workplace. Until the management addresses this issue and treats their staff with dignity and respect, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. After witnessing the manager's appalling behavior, we confronted him about it. He apologized, but his justification for his behavior was unsettling. He claimed that's just how he speaks, which doesn't acknowledge the harm caused by his words. While we appreciate the apology, we're skeptical about the sincerity and worry about the well-being of the staff.

We decided to treat our selfs to a fantastic meal at casa Bella as the casa Bella's in PTA and JHB are excellent. There were only 2 tables when we sat down, we now know why when all other restaurants were packed, we were the third table. I ordered a pork fettuccine pasta,my wife had a pork belly and we ordered a Carne pizza for the kids. After waiting ages for the food , 2 other tables sat down after we ordered our food and have paid their bills before any of our food made it to the table. My pasta eventually made it to the table I asked the waiter why it was taking so long, she indicated there is an issue in the kitchen but the manager will come talk to me. No one made it to the table.my pasta was undercooked and fairly awful. Eventually my wife's pork belly made it to the table. I then insisted on seeing the manager as my kids are hungry and your staff expects that we should eat in front of our hungry kids. Eventually the pizza made it almost to the table , but the pizza was made with onions when we said no onions. It was returned to the kitchen. The manager eventually made it to our table and apologized and offered to give the pizza for free. I informed him that I do not want a free meal I would like to speak to the owner to Inform him his staff is destroying his restaurant. He refused and eventually left. Note on the food my wife's pork belly and vegetables were **********ly burned. Pizza was ok when it eventually made it to the table without onions. A little later Thando came to inform me he is the higher manager. Explaining how they messed it up , I told him it is fine but I would like to inform the owner how the staff and manager is destroying his restaurant. The manager refused my request and offered our meal to be free of charge. I told him I do not want a free meal , I want a quality meal and quality service, which I want to pay for. And they did not deliver on both. Now I would like to inform the owner privately of what his staff is doing to allow him to sort it out without publicly slamming and damaging his business. Again the manager refused this request and insisted a free meal should be good enough. Again I do not need a free meal. Eventually we left but I still remained confused , if a customer offers to raise a concern in private rather than publicly doing so why would you refuse the request ? Either the manager is hiding things from the owner or the owner does not care about his customers ?

My partner and I had a wonderful experience at Casa Bella Montecasino. We ordered a rump steak and spinach and the Chorizo fettuccine which were delicious, perfectly cooked and well presented. Our waiter Thembani was excellent with his service and helped us enter the Nederberg wine competition with ease. His friendly manner and efficiency helped make our lunch experience that much more enjoyable. I mostly like the ambience of the restaurant with sparkly casino lights and a little river flowing by. The table we sat at was neat and tidy and the chairs comfortable. In a nutshell, this restaurant offers value for money food and drinks in a pleasant setting with good service. We were thanked by the staff on our way out which gave me good closure and showed appreciation. We will gladly go back and support them.

Casa Bella Silverstar. What an amazing experience. Impressive service thanks to Lara our waitress she was such an amazing hostess, she made us laugh and rendered an outstanding service, the food was to die for... from the complimentary starter to the deserve.... mouth watering and elegance at its best 👌

3 weeks ago, my partner and I went to Casa Bella Mall of Africa. Had to wait a good 30mins before being assisted, the food took it's time to arrive and then the waiter decides to charge the meals separately yet we ordered the 2 course meal. We then decided to give them a try once again last week Friday after the poor service we had received prior which turned out to be an even bigger mistake. The waiter charged our meals separately instead of the 2 course meal price. When we corrected him and reminded him what the 2 course meal costs, he went to another waiter who then came to our table and stated they can't correct the bill which I found absurd. He then went on and said we must pay the amount stated which I refused as that amount is not the price of the meals we ordered. When I asked to speak to the manager, they ignored my request and advised me I can pay the actual cost of the meals and then requested a tip on top of it. I honestly am disappointed in the mediocre service I've received on both occassions. Casa Bella Mall of Africa can definitely miss my patronage

Silverstar Casino - Casa Bella, Dissapointing. Ordered Chorizo Fettuccine without onions and olives, as I am allergic to onions and garlic. Once I received it, it had onions in due to chef missing a paper. Received second plate of food with a different sauce, and had a ton of garlic with tomatoes, would rather have waited for a decent plate of food instead of a whole new tomato garlic recipe as on the menu it did not indicate garlic. So glad I had allergex. Was excited for a dissapointing plate of pasta.
