Just got a call from this company. I told them i'm not interested. After i have dropped the call, 2minutes, i received an sms that i gave them consent to get my credit profile. Where can i logged a complaint against them or can i contact the public consumer?

CDS Consulting harrasing clients
Received a call from this company and told them to forget my cellphone number and told them to take me off their cold calling list. Appears to be a debt consulting company. Next thing i get a sms which i never consented to. Beware of these guys very ***** I, D Govender, ID 7905***9085, gave consent to request my credit report on 2026-05-26. CDS breach of POPIA and
Today I received a call from CDS consulting, and they told me they are NCR registered, and I am being overcharged on my accounts. After telling them not to call again and that they can remove me from their database, the agent was rude. A few minutes later I received a SMSs stating that I gave consent to credit check on reasons of affordability assessment. This is false. No, I did not consent and will take this to POPIA court as he read out details I did not give consent to with personal information I am not happy

Today I received a call from ***, and they told me they are NCR registered, and I am being overcharged on my accounts. After telling them not to call again and that they can remove me from their database, the agent was quite rude. A few minutes later I received 3 SMSs stating that I gave consent to credit check on reasons of affordability assessment. This is false. No, I did not consent, and I am not struggling with any accounts. It is scary that my information was accessed without my permission or consent. This seems ******* and *****ulent at best.

I got a call from ***. A lady spoke faintly as I couldn’t hear her voice, so I asked her to to repeat and she spoke abit louder confirming my name as I said Yes, She hung up. The next minute I got a text “I…… my name and ID number” gave consent for CDS CONSULTING PTY LTD. To do a credit report for me. This is BS. These guys are ***** and where do they get our information from

I like the previous reviewer "I received a call today from an agent saying they were from the NCR and I had been selected as they noted that banks were over charging me on my car payments. They then proceeded to list my vehicle and the bank payments as well as my ID and email address which was VERY concerning". They also sent me an sms where I purportedly accepted to them accessing my credit report. These people are *****.
