This cest la ve spoil yourself heat brush is the worst product and it's really expensive.I was walking in the mall and this sales person girl comes up to me and ask me to do my hair for free with a heat brush and insist I try it on my hair after she had done my hair she talks about how nice it is to use a heat brush and it's better then a hair straightener but it's not so she was pushing me to buy it and telling me it's the best I can use she didn't even say there's was a hidden cost to it of R500 if it breaks and they are the worst service I wanted a refund the same day and they said they can't do it.I advise you to not buy these misold product and not let the sales people pressure you into buying it

Bought a Tame straightening brush at the Rand Show 2025. Cray is the consultant that helped me. She was so nice and helpful, she even curler my hair and also straightened it to show me how both products work. Loving my straightening brush, keeps my hair nice and straight for long.

Absolutely the best service ever! They truly go out of their way to help – a real lifetime guarantee. After 2 years, my straightener had a fault and they replaced it with a brand new one, no hassle at all. Visit them at the Bloem Show till 5 May and treat yourself to one. You won’t regret it – top-notch service and quality!

Bad expierence. I was the rand show today at nasrec and the lady was very pushy. I told her i didn’t want to and she pulled me to the seat. I sat down and she began to remove my hair from its updo. She straightens one side and curl the other. I told her I wasn’t interested as I already have a straightener at home which works really well. I tried to stand up and leave and she stopped me. She continued to shove the card machine in my face and packed the straightener. I stood up again and walked away with my hair in a complete mess. Please avoid these pop ups by all costs. I’ve never felt so pressured to buy something I don’t want or need

I purchased a straightening brush Tame at ComicCon in Johannesburg in September at Cest la vie Hair's stand. The lady was very persistent to give me a demonstration and I agreed because I didn't have time that morning to fix my hair. The brush she used really impressed me, it worked so much better than the one I was using then. Though it was a bit pricey I decided to buy one. Well, I must say that both that lady, who gave me demonstration, and the young guy who was working on the stand with her, were very friendly and persistent - they clearly perfect the art of sales. Or should I rather say, the art of ****ming. When I used the brush at home, I noticed that the effect is not the same I had during the demonstration. After I used the brush 3 times, it stopped getting hot. Then it suddenly worked 1 more time and after that stopped showing any signs of life. I tried to contact C'est la vie Hair but no success. I found a couple of similar to mine stories online. To me it looks that they package cheap stuff into branded boxes and sell it x10 more expensive that one can buy from Takealot but during the demonstration they use the real products that give you that same great effect.

On Saturday 1 October at approximately 16:10pm I walked past the Show Bar in Gateway shopping centre. I had my two young kids with me, and I was in a hurry, but the sales lady was persistent. She insisted on demoing a straightening brush which I was adamant I didn’t need. Then when I said I really had to leave she pulled out a curling wand. She tested this on a strand of my hair and at first look it was fine. I felt like she put me on the spot and i felt increasingly preassurized so i purchase the curling wand. When I got home at attempted to use the want, I absolutely did not get the result I wanted that she had shown me. I have Keratin hair extensions which I informed the sales lady of, and she could visibly see. I did not hear everything the sales lady said, firstly because I am partially deaf, secondly my kids were distracting me as they wanted to go and thirdly the mall was very noisy making it extremely difficult to hear in an already challenging environment. I have sent them several emails and requests via their website and have received no feedback thus far. I have even offered to courier the goods back to them in their original packaging at my own cost for a full refund.
