Choice Insurance Brokers - Very disappointing
The service I have received from Choice Insurance Brokers has been absolutely terrible. Let me explain: Last year December we had an accident in our car. Sha was very good and acted quickly. Very long story short, we have had absolutely no communication or assistance from Choice through this entire process. I dealt with Hollard directly. Hollard was very good and they assisted us and we have finally got the claim paid. This has taken 2 months. Why we went to a Broker in the first instance is to have peace of mind if anything like this happens and that we would be looked after and the Broker would fight for us. No such thing with Choice Insurance Brokers. I certainly will not be using them again.

We’re sorry that this experience left you feeling unsupported — that is never our intention.For clarity, our offices were closed over the festive period during much of the claim process. Upon reopening, the claim could not proceed due to an SAPS S-mark on your vehicle, which legally had to be removed by the vehicle owner before Hollard could finalise payment. Both Hollard and Choice were awaiting this step.We contacted you on 15 January to follow up, at which point the vehicle status was still unchanged, and we then provided guidance to assist with the removal so the claim could be concluded.While we understand your frustration, the delay was unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control. We remain available should you wish to discuss this further.Kind regards,
