7 hours to have a file opened.
The worst clinic I've ever seen and experienced. The first time I went there it was for myself, for the removal and insertion of an implanon,which took the clinic 3 days to finally have the procedure done. Now recently, last week friday(6/01/2026) I wanted to consult for my 4 year old daughter, I arrived at around 9 and by 12pm a file was not opened, however because I had other commitments I decided to leave and come back the following Monday. Today is Monday, I cleared the day for clinic and 7 hours later until knock off time, I was still not able to open a file for her. When I got to the admin desk the guy who was supposed to open it for her, sent me to ask the nurse who works with kids if it was okay for him to open a file for my daughter. The time was 15:49 when I went to ask the nurse, her answer was "do you have a watch or a phone on you?" insinuating that it was late, so she said "no don't open a file". My daughter had to wait such long hours a lwala, not to have even just a mere file opened for her. You know I did not mind to return again tuesday because I figured the first time I went there that they take 2 to 3 days to have them assist patients. However for the fact that I didn't get a mere file opened for her! Was just messed up.

appointments systems doesn't work and the workers r very rude😡😡😡
I am writing this while at the Sammy Marks clinic ,it's my appointment day ND I got here at 06:45 for my 09:00 appointment bt sill I hv not received help it's now 11:00 ND wen I try to explain my appointment is today as written on my card they said they hv to finish with the 07:30 appointment people including those who only got to the clinic at 09:45 for 07:30 appointment ND the reception to the nurses by the BP area r very rude they fail to even answer if they found my file or not so I cn decide to either take my transfer ND use another clinic cos obviously the appointment thing really doesn't work coz we who cum in time for our appointment hv to wait fir those who cum late after thire appointment ....some us dont get paid if no work performed so now I hv to loose out a day cos m sitting in the clinic just coz of lazy people ND den it affects my family too coz I won't b able to provide for them if m not able to get to work....rather the clinic change these appointments things ND use numbers dat way no late coming will bt tolerated period.

Worst clinic
I had the worst experience at this clinic, arrived at 06:30 and already there was a long queue outside, at 7:45 we were led inside and that's where i learnt that they prioritize appointments, the clinc opens at 7:30 but they started working around 8. it was my first time and i regret ever stepping a foot in there. around 12 i made it to the waiting room to see a nurse or doctor, imagine how i felt when people who arrived after me and didn't have appointments were assisted whilst i still waited there in the waiting room, I went to the nurse who checks blood pressure and i was told my file was still there with the others, at half past 3, some nurses were already packed and knocked off, from 06:30 Am till closing time at 4pm, i wasn't assisted... I don't recommend this clinic to anyone!

A Very bad slow service
I had a very bad service at Sammy Marks, I got there at 8 yesterday and only appointments were prioritized. Ok, I got inside the clinic around 10h00 with hope of getting assistance. Well guess what I got to the front desk at 1pm and my file was no longer on the system I don't know maybe it's been long since I visited the clinic. Fast forward my file was not ready at 4pm and I was sent home. Today I went to the clinic with hope of getting assisted well, my file was there and they did my vitals...after that I went to ANC department where around 9am and this other sister asked what am I there to do. I explained that I got returned. So she said with an attitude " I am alone today and won't be assisting you. I will only assist the follow ups. I'm alone and won't do it. So you will sit there at your own risk" I sat there with the hope of Her changing Her mind well guess what She didn't. After an hour I then asked for a letter so I can give my manager. She said " yohwhy the hell should I give you that because I didn't assit you, well I won't give you that." Out of frustration I cried so hard there at clinic toilets and went to reception and asked for assistance they showed me this other sister. I explained with frustration and tears in my eyes, and She said "I don't understand why you are crying, sit there and I'll assist you when I'm done". I sat there impatiently until I left. I left because I couldn't hold back the tears anymore and was very much frustrated. I wish they improve for the better for other people because as for me. It was the second time with bad service. We just play along because we do not have money or resources to go to other clinics. Let them keep their clinic

Best Experience
I had an amazing experience at Sammy Mark's clinic from the lady who assisted me @reception to a guy called Frans(Male nurse)his service was beyond 5 star more like private sector service *people always had bad experience regarding municipality clinics ..but I had a beautiful experience. Thank you to everyone especially Frans continue to serve the community with love.

I had an amazing experience at Sammy Mark's clinic from the lady who assisted me @reception to a guy called Frans(Male nurse)his service was beyond 5 star more like private sector service *people always had bad experience regarding municipality clinics ..but I had a beautiful experience. Thank you to everyone especially Frans continue to serve the community with love.

Bad service
I was at Sammy marks square clinic on the 23rd. Wow a pathetic service I got from your staff. From front desk poor service and management. They all banching in front. No respect for fellow citizens. I arrived at 12.30pm I was told they can't assist me. Cause the clinic close at 4pm. I need to set up an appointment before they can assist me. Since when do you have to make an appointment to visit a local clinic. I believe if a had to make an appointment I will to go visit a private doctor.. What happened to post cards that's place in front of people stating"Batho pele" Your staff lack guest relations. Hopefully this message is wake up call to person in charge.. Not everyone out there is and afford a private doctor or have medical aids. Thinks for others??

Bad service
