I had a bad experience with CMH Ford Steyns as a first-time buyer and they took advantage of that. I was told other banks declined me and only their in-house finance approved me on a newer model only. They gave me a high interest rate with lots of extra's and the rear bumper of the vehicle is peeling, the car was previous painted and poor workmanship was done. First time buyers who don't have experience buying vehicles run away, don't even think of buying from CMH Ford Steyns Bosman. They'll leave u indebted. I hope this helps someone out there

I bought a car from Ford Fury in Pretoria, last month for export to Zimbabwe. I bought a Toyota Hilux D4D, 2.8L. This has a lot of issues considering the price i think Ford Fury should have been honest and upfront about the problems. Firstly the advertised mileage on their website was 199,000 kms but when i picked up the vehicle it only showed 9,000 kms on the odometer reading, i asked them what was happening to which they said the cluster was replaced so this is a new cluster, this information was never shared upfront. The car doesn't go to 4wl, its giving an error on the dashboard, to which they said the car is still under warranty and i should bring it back, i called Toyota to check and they said no the car is nolonga on warranty or any service plan. They **** about the car having new disks, which it didn't. The control arms & ball joints are gone, camberbolts have ceased. I have spent almost R20,000.00 as if i bought an accident damaged vehicle, and as if i enquire about all these issues upfront and i was told the vehicle was in excellent condition.

Worst experience in my history of serving my car at Ford. Took in my car fully running, no issues with starting(first start, car runs) for it's annual service and my car comes back with starting issues and Elasbe keeps blaming it on my car being "old" in her terms...How so if I dropped my car in with no issues of starting??? Terrible service....

Very poor service from F&I, salesperson and management. They are quick to sell a vehicle but doesn't go tje contract trough with you and if you need help they take their time to help doesn't answer the calls or whats app. I want to cancel the deal but no assistance.

I am very disappointed at the service and the level of arrogance, I received at Ford under the leadership of the Service Manager Jacques Claassen,the service advisor Elsabe Van Loggerenberg. My car was serviced at their dealership since it was brand new for years now, I never service my car anywhere as I trusted their service. It was my greatest bad service experience after my car was serviced for 60 000km, the oil was leaking,I took my car there for service with trust. On 80 000 km I told them that my car as leaking oil, it was checked, I was told by a technician who serviced my car at 80 000km that he checked it indeed the car leaked from the oil pan because improper closing. An oil leak also can be caused by a loose or missing oil pan drain plug in my case it was bad service as it was loose. The technician was honest, that they failed to close it properly,... poor service by the technical team. I accepted their apology with a view that something like this does happen and it was fixed. I drove the car home, in the morning I noticed a leak again, then I wrote ford an email, I was told to bring back the car, indeed, I immediately took the car back, my car was checked they told me there is NO leak. It could be probably an old leaking oil, which leaked previously, melting because of heat, I believed, then drove home, I checked the car there were leaks, I phoned Ford, Spoke to the service advisor Elsabe Van Loggerenberg who said I should bring the car back I went back again. They told me there is NO leak, it still the old oil melting, the car continued leaking, I went to Ford they told me there is NO leak, on the morning 28/07/2022 I could not take it anymore, I phoned Ford, spoke to service advisor Elsabe Van Loggerenberg whom I told about the situation, she said we can do a quote to find out how much I will gonna pay. I got irritated, I drove straight to Ford, I told them I came to their dealerships/service department 3 times complaining about the same leak underneath my car, my car was even serviced there at their company they can't even help I got irritated until my car was checked properly assessed by a technician, after I told them how I feel about their service. This is a matter that I came 3 times here to report to you, but they could not even help, after they decided to assess my car I was called to come check, they then said it was nothing to worry about, I asked them to check the status of the car throughly. To give a proper diagnosis we stood there for 20 minutes, only to be told it's a coolant pipe, it needs to be changed , this irritated me as I took my car there 3 times, no 1 could pick this up, I told them I won't let this slide, I shall write an email to the Ford South Africa to find an amicable solution. This matter will not be left unattended as it is equivalent to bad service. This is a 5 star 🌟 service they preach, I will never ever take my car there, I will never even encouraged anyone to take his/her car there for a service. Deon - Wow, what a phenomenal guy with superior client services , answered all my queries fast and is willing to go the extra mile. Jaco - one of the best F&I's that I have dealt with, knows the product ranges extremely well and negotiated me a fantastic rate with the bank. Thank you guys!
