Shocking service

I ordered dinner from Col,cacchio Meadowridge this evening. The order was accepted and I was told 40 minutes for delivery through Uber Eats.

One hour and 40 minutes later I phoned the restaurant to ask where my order was and they said another 20 minutes.

One hour later the order had still not left the kitchen. When I cancelled with Uber eats as I had to feed my children, Uber charged me the full amount as cancellation citing. In their words “sorry but the restaurant takes the full amount when they accept the order. If I had been told they were backed up and would take so long I would have ordered from somewhere else. And I don’t expect to pay over 800 rand for something I could not wait for 2 hours for.

Ridiculous.
