I have a problem with a meterbox which is not passing the power voltage, this thing is happening for the 4th time now, I called in the morning requesting for a new meter box and well explained that I'm at work I left the key with the security at the gate. I heard that the guy came knocked and left. I did specified that I'm at work. I called 012 at 15;25, they're already closed.

I am not happy with the service I am receiving. The company is quick to send demand letters, but there was no proper follow-up before doing so. They claim that the invoice was sent via SMS. I do not regularly check SMS messages, and I did not receive that SMS at all. Previously, all invoices and statements were sent to me via email. The last statement I received was dated 10 October. This time, they decided to send the invoice via SMS without notifying me of any change in communication method. I am not sure why this decision was made or who it was convenient for, but it was not my fault. This shows negligence on the company’s side. Furthermore, the amounts on the invoices do not align. The full-month invoice is R900, yet the half-month invoice is R650. This does not make sense and has not been explained. Overall, there was no proper communication or follow-up, but they were quick to issue a demand letter. This level of service is unacceptable.

The water bill keeps going up and there is no clear explanation on the billing. Imagine a water bill going from R337 to R747 to R815 in a period of 3 months and at some point we were not even at home then one would wonder who is using the water?

Honestly nothing to really complain about, it's a massive pain having to go there to activate electricity and their email tends to reject messages for reasons like the mailbox being full and anti spam for some reason? Other than that, when up and running it was all smooth sailing, never got a crazy bill, never had any issues and cancellation is very straightforward.

I need help with Consistent Metering/Constantia Metering. I cannot keep up with their soul crushing fees that are even more than my water usage (which is minimal)!! 😭😭 I am a single mom with one salary, I have kids in the house to care for and my water has been cut. They have sent me 2 letters for late payment which cost R242.70 each, for 1 letter on 1 piece of paper. They have also charged me a R729 disconnection fee x 2, this was just to flick a switch. Their offices are about 3km from my residence, and that would not even equate to R50 petrol. In totality 2 letters is R485.40 & the disconnection x 2 is R1458. The total amount in the letters and disconnection is R1943.34. With these costs I cannot get my account up to date. These fees have got nothing to do with water and sanitation usage at all. Constantia, do you have any humanity left in you to see that without your gut-wrenching fees, I cannot provide my children with running water. I cannot bath them, I cannot feed them. Please help me out here, your fees for non water usage need to be reported. My account number is PTA74929
