Gavin Kriek, also goes under the name Ryan Gavin Kriek, and even Gavin Dahlgren is the worst person to deal with. His companies are under the names of Contracts24, Roofing24, Plumb24, Pools24, Pools24, Build24, Renovations24, Concrete24. YES he has so many "companies". His work ethics are terrible. He does a terrible job and runs away as soon as you have paid the deposit without finishing anything. He did our gutters in Oct 2020, and they have fallen off already. What a waste of thousands of rand. Stay far away from this man.

Just don’t go there. Seriously. Over a month and a half to get nowhere. I wish people could just admit they didn’t know how to do something instead of attempting stuff you know nothing about and then when you, the client have eventually had enough and expose them you get the most gutter level threats you have even heard.

Stay awy from Contract 24!!!!!
Contracts 24 or Pools 24 or many other 24s is the name they are trading under and their motto...Any Job, Any Time! After the heavy rains, a few months ago, water leaked into the bathroom and through the floor into the kitchen. I had the roof repaired by Westville Roofing, an excellent job. I was then "recommended" to contact Gavin Kriek of Contracts 24 to repair and repaint the bathroom and kitchen ceilings. That's when the mess, utter shambolic mess, started. Gavin Kriek sat on my deck the whole day without supervising what his men were doing. He should have noted that his men never used sheeting to cover my stove, appliances, floor and kitchen tops, nothing was covered and paint spots everywhere. After they "finished" the job I went to inspect and immediately saw that both ceilings needed another coat of paint and as I said before, paint spots everywhere!! The only reason they came back to clean their mess was that I gave them another small job to strengthen a beam in my ceiling. Shortly afterwards I heard a load bang coming from the kitchen and discovered that they never secured the cover from the light fitting and it shattered in pieces on the floor. I also discovered the repairs in the bathroom was back to what it was before they repaired it. I contacted Gavin Kriek and he in turn blamed me for the light fitting falling on the floor!! It took months, lots of WhatsApp messages and pressure from the insurance company before they eventually came back. They replaced the light fitting and repaired and painted part of the bathroom ceiling again. The light fitting however was smaller than the one they replaced and a dark one inch border was now visible around the fitting. I also noted that they used a different color paint in the bathroom where they touched up and it now looks disgusting. I contacted Gavin Kriek again and received the most disgusting, rude and threatening email I have ever received or seen. I forwarded the email to the insurance company and they too, were shocked by his response. Up to date nothing more has been done! Just stay far, far away from Gavin Kriek of Contracts 24.

Poor Workmanship and Ethics Contracts 24
After experiencing shocking service from Ryan Gavin Kriek from Contracts 24 I would strongly warn anyone about his poor workmanship and ethics!!! He promised since September 2018 to come and fix his mess (by his own admission) or refund me my R20 000+....I am still waiting. This despicable thief and liar promotes himself on several social media platforms capable of doing anything from plumbing to building pools. Be warned of this con artist!

After experiencing shocking service from Ryan Gavin Kriek from Contracts 24 I would strongly warn anyone about his poor workmanship and ethics!!! He promised since September 2018 to come and fix his mess (by his own admission) or refund me my R20 000+....I am still waiting. This despicable thief and liar promotes himself on several social media platforms capable of doing anything from plumbing to building pools. Be warned of this con artist!

Bad building experience
Had a very disappointing experience with this company. Gavin Ryan Kriek and his band of misfits are to be avoided at all costs. They did a renovation that included a roof, the roof has been leaking badly since they installed it. Never fixed it after numerous requests and empty promises. I see he has renamed himself Build24 now. He also goes by the name of Roofing 24, Handyman 24, Pools 24, etc. Stay away.

Bad building experience

Dishonesty, zero project supervision, mistreatment of employees, racism, inappropriate comments to parties involved and general incompetence. Avoid this person and his companies and warn others.
