Scam
Dismal service from Patrick. He promised to return but never did. We paid for a new thermostat installation on our staff fridge. Nothing has changed, everything in the fridge still kept on freezing. Their website is what got me...looks professional...reputable etc.

Scam

ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY, YOU WILL NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN
Horrible experience. Started promising enough. Patrick came out same day on Wednesday, 17 July 2019, after I WhatsApped the number on the website. Said my fridge needed a new motor, so I paid a R400 deposit, and he came back the next day (Thursday) to install, when I paid him the balance of R1 400. So far, so good. The new motor buzzed, but didn't make cold. I phoned Patrick and said that I'm busy on the Friday, but could he please come on the Saturday and have another look. That was when he vanished. Repeated WhatsApp messages to him (Mobile number 078 599 9966) and to the other number on the website (Mobile 073 316 9383) was greeted with absolute silence. I once managed to get hold of Patrick again, when he gave me some half-****d excuse about having had to return to Zim on urgent family business, but that he was back in Cape Town, and that he would attend to me soonest. Same with the other number. A guy named Calven picked up once (this was the 16th of August) and assured me that he would send somebody the same day. That never happened. He promised again on WhatsApp on the 19th of August. Still nothing.

Scammed by CP REFRIGERATION AND APPLIANCE REPAIRS
Came out same day and "fixed" my refridgerator and washing machine. When I got home both appliances still exibited the same symptoms. Patrick kept on stringing me along by promising someone is on his way but then just stopped answering his phone. Went back to their website and saw the number changed. When I called the new number was told by a man with similar accent that they are different company and not the same people, despite website and responses on whatsapp are the same.

They have an attractive webpage which is user friendly, Simply click on what app and you get same day service. Patrick 0785999966 removed my relay plug and told me my compressor needs to be replaced. He quoted me R3800 for the job. When I declined his quote he refused to return my relay plug. He wanted me to pay another call out fee which is R150 for return of plug. I was willing since he effectively sabotaged any other workman from repairing my fridge. eventually my fridge was repaired for about R1000 and there was nothing wrong with my compressor. Please beware of them.

Shocking scam
I have just been scammed by Patrick 078 5999966 of CP Refrigeration Repairs. He replaced the engine of my Defy washing machine for R1598.50. Before it did not spin, now nothing works. He promised to return but no sign of him. I wish I had checked Hellopeter as there were two shocking reviews here already.
