Were told at the open day 2018 AIE is accredited everywhere. After my son completed the Nation Dip in Architectural Technology (NQF6) and registering with SACAP did we realise that AIE diploma is not accredited by the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP ) which is huge, SACAP is the main governing body of the industry. Only feedback received is AIE, SACAP is in talks and it will happen soon. If this does not happen, my son effectively wasted two years not to mention the significant study fees paid.
I have upgrade online on the 27th of August, got a quote number/reference and completed the upgrade through sms by confirming the upgrade, then heard nothing. Another upgrade different number did 2 days later has gone through no issues but on the first one deadly silence. After emails and almost hour and a half on the phone being sent from one department to the other I still have no resolution. Eventually spoke to four different departments and got three different answers, i.e. Shipment cancelled the upgrade, phone is discontinued, upgrade is pending not cancelled. I eventually asked for my query to be escalated in order to get this resolved and my upgrade progressing. This is now 3 days after the escalation and not a single attempt from Vodacom to get in touch with me.
I have two covid tests, both done at Dischem test centre at the Cape Town Airport. You pay upfront R420 per test before they test you but do not declare or make you aware that certain Medical Aids, like Discovery will not accept the claim. They know this because they told me when I enquired afterwards. Discovery requires an ICD-10 code on the invoice and Dischem says they provide what was agreed with the Medical aids, they don't have an ICD-10 code. Its not their problem.
I have two Covid tests (R420 x 2) that Discovery do not want to reimburse me for because Dischem test centre did not provide a ICD-10 code on the invoice. Dischem says it provided the codes they agreed with all the medical schemes they don't have anything to add. Im sitting in the middle. When you go for these tests nowhere do they tell you when you are paying that certain medical aids, like Discovery will not be reimbursing you.
Came out same day and "fixed" my refridgerator and washing machine. When I got home both appliances still exibited the same symptoms. Patrick kept on stringing me along by promising someone is on his way but then just stopped answering his phone. Went back to their website and saw the number changed. When I called the new number was told by a man with similar accent that they are different company and not the same people, despite website and responses on whatsapp are the same.
After several hours on the phone talking to multiple vodacom agents, being transferred from the one department to the other, I still cannot book my device in for a repair. The problem according to the shops is that the IMEI number on my phone does not correspond to the IMEI number on the system. According to multiple vodacom online agents, this should not be a problem, but I am getting nowhere to get my phone booked in for a repair because of this. The phone supplied by Vodacom direct has two IMEI numbers on the box, the 2nd one is on the system but the 1st one is on the phone. I cannot get to speak to someone with Vodacom online to acknowledge my problem and help me. Vodacom Online must fix, by aligning the IMEI numbers on the system with the phone or collect my phone and give me a replacement with the correct IMEI number. I can get the phone fixed myself, but there are warranty implications and in principle I believe Vodacom caused the problem, they should fix it.
