Worst Service
I was there on Sunday 4th January 2026 to have lunch with my wife. Fast service to allocate a table and menus. And that is where it ends, waited for approximately 30 min to be attended too. Decided to leave, ask for the Manager but no assistance

So disappointed
I took my mom for lunch on 21 December 2024. We ordered the seafood chowder and for the price of R225 per dish, we received a pot full of sauce, potatoes and calamari. We each had about 2 "prawns" the size of shrimp and also about 2 tiny mussels. I complained to the manager who said he will speak to the kitchen staff......but the sent the waiter (who wa still new) to come and tell us: sorry, there is nothing they can do about it?!?!?! I will NEVER eat there again and will most certainly not recommend that restaurant to anyone! The branch in Brooklyn on the other hand is fantastic!

Restuarant management need to understand the nature of the business and listen to all sides of a story before jumping the gun. A situation that could have been handled with a simple, decent and respectful request from the other patron ended up in insults, swearing, threats of violence etc. And it was not properly managed by the manager. When the reasoning for managing a situation in a specific manner is stated as "this is a child friendly establishment", then managers should ensure that people behave accordingly so that they can actually take care of their kids and prevent them from injury and/or harm, as well as exposure to that kind of language and behaviour. Because guess what... The reason we selected Crawdaddy's was because there is a play area and the child in our company could also play whilst we eat. Such a pity, because the rest of the day was truly enjoyable.

Disappointing
Booked a table for four and was given a table for 6 which made it unpleasant to begin with. The waitress was not helpful at all and didn’t understand simple requests. Having ordered drinks and starters we. Asked that we order our mains to come with a break in between but no they came as soon as we had finished our starters. The food was not the best with garlic sauce that didn’t taste of Garlic. A curry without a poppadom which had been requested. Cheeloin smothered in cheese sauce and mushroom so it spoilt the steak. We also asked for gin and tonics but got lemonade. All in all a very disappointing night

Useless and Skelm
We had lunch at Crawdaddy's Montana on 30/12/2018,service was ok and food ok.When paying the Bill with my card the card declined on there card machine (card machine gives a print out with almost no ink and unable to read).Got the sms from Standard bank that the transaction went through.Not accepting my sms that the payment went trough i was forced to go withdraw money to pay the bill and was told that the transaction will reverse on my account.It's 08/01/2019 and no transaction was refunded to my account.I have contacted Crawdaddy's Montana 5 times now,spoken to 3 different managers with no results,just promises to call me back,but nothing!I have consulted Standard bank as well who also confirmes that the transaction was succesfull.You will never see me again,and i will go out of my way to spread the word how dodgy Crawdaddy's Montana is!!

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Wow, the manager at this branch, by the name of Paul is such a people's person. We got there without a reservation as it was our first time at that branch and the restaurant was fully booked but Paul went out of his way to ensure that we were accommodated. He did not assign a waiter to our table but personally offered to help us with the menu and recommended items on the menu that he thought we would enjoy. He made our night and for that I would recommend this restaurant to any one who is looking for "out of this world"customer service and a great menu.
