I purchased a double door fridge cash on the 6th of October 2022. A week later, one door handle broke off and i reported the matter to their customer service. a few days later a technician arrives to come and repair the door handle where he informs me that they'd have to change the whole door and that the damage cannot be repaired and it seemed like it was a factory default. a week later another person by the name of Percy Mojoi contacts me and asks me to send pictures of the damaged handle, I comply and send the pictures and then he goes silent on me for weeks. I contact him every second week to request progress report, on all occasions that I called, he told me he has my number and that he would call me back but never did. I must have called him about 5 times since October 2021 until now. I then call the customer care centre where I was informed on the 5th Jan 2023 that my complained was never lodged and that there is nothing on the system that indicates all the activities that have been taking place since my first call to lodge a complaint. I am so disappointed at the level of their customer service. They do not take their customers seriously. I have been using a fridge with one door since October 2021 up to this day

Never, Ever buy anything at this furniture store that is on the floor, biggest scammers ever! i paid cash for a lounge suite that was on sale with the hope that i would be able to change my mind the next day as i could not see the exact colour of the lounge suite since there was load shedding and i explained this to the cashier. She informed us that "once the product is delivered", we will be liable for a 10% handling fee. I arrived at the store in the morning the next day to discover that what i thought was grey was actually dark brown. I explained to the cashier that i want a refund as the colour did not go with the aesthetics in my house. She blatantly refused to give me my refund, mind you the couch is still at the store. I asked to speak to the manager, she also refused and said that she would do the negotiating on my behalf, stating that i was gonna put her in trouble with her employer. Two days later they delivered the lounge suite while i was still waiting to hear from the cashier and the manager. Upon inspection, i discovered that one couch was torn and was hand sewn . long story short, I am stuck with a hideous lounge suite, the only thing they did was to replace the torn cushion. I receive feedback from a rude manager who basically told me there was no way i was gonna get my refund.
They were deducting a funeral cover premium from my father's disability grant for him and my mother. When my mother passed away and it was time for them to pay him R15000 they claimed that he did not cover my mother and therefore, would not pay out. The documents my father has in his possession clearly show that they were each covered for R15000 each. Such fraudsters preying on the elderly.
On the 10th Nov 2020, I went to h&h Kolonnade mall to purchase a hob that i saw online. The salesperson was adamant that they did not sell such an item until i showed her the one i saw online. she informed me the item was out of stock and that they would receive stock on the 20th Nov 2020. I was happy, went ahead, paid for the hob and my order was placed. a few days later i receive a call from the store to tell me that the stock was no longer arriving on the 20th but on the 21st Nov. I was ok with that. I called the store again today to find out the expected arrival date of the stock and no one knew. its been14 days since i placed an order so I called head office only to be told to drop an email. The least i was expecting from the store or head office was to tell me the exact date the stock was going to arrive. so annoyed with their service
Wow, the manager at this branch, by the name of Paul is such a people's person. We got there without a reservation as it was our first time at that branch and the restaurant was fully booked but Paul went out of his way to ensure that we were accommodated. He did not assign a waiter to our table but personally offered to help us with the menu and recommended items on the menu that he thought we would enjoy. He made our night and for that I would recommend this restaurant to any one who is looking for "out of this world"customer service and a great menu.
