I purchased a Cricut maker 4 from Takealot. It just stopped working. It’s only 4 months old and still under warranty. I contacted Cricut. They assured me it will be replaced. Everytime I call, all they tell me is that they have contacted the distributor and they waiting for a response. Absolute waste of money and **** of a warranty. Do not invest your money this!!

I bought a Cricut unite to cut vinyl, however, i have experience that the Cricut unit does not align properly with the picture to be cut out, i calibrated in accordance with the manufacturer requirements and still no success. i thought it could be maybe the computer, i reloaded the program and perform this step 3 time and still no success, i the proceeded to contact Cricut for assistance, and no assistance were provided. i have a subscription to use the program which is coting me every time i use it, and still no one can assist. I was prompted via an automated unit to follow some steps, which i did, and at the end of the test, still no assistance nor does there website provide further assistance, contacting them is non existing.

Cricut Design Space has so MANY issues since all the millions of updates from around February 2025. I have lost so many clients due to not being able to make the deadline because Design Space has an issue. Today, I lost jet again another client. Design Space does not want to open. As soon as you log in, it just takes you back to the log in screen and round and round you go. Tried to phone them 3 times, every time waiting 15min to speak to someone and no one answers. Tried to ask for advice on their Facebook page, but they don't allow any form of negative posts, even if you are just asking for assistance.

I purchased a Cricut Mug Press a week ago from Takealot. I was so excited to receive it and am no stranger to Cricut machines so I know you need to set up the machine on your Design Space account. The machine turns on and connects to my USB on my laptop but will for the life of it not all me to continue and refuses to proceed. I have sent three mails to their customer service "no reply" I called them on Monday 28th July 2025 and spoke to their service agent who informed me that they are aware of the problem and it is a software update issue. They are working on it and will release the new update as soon as they have fixed it. When I searched for similar errors people had already started reporting this issue from the 21st July 2025. I have had my non working product for almost a week and am very frustrated that I have not been able to use it. Now I will need to contact Takealot and find out if they will not allow me to return after the 7 days expires as I am waiting to see if Cricut will release the new update to fix the BIG bug that has ruined my excitement in this machine. Two weeks and still no FIX?

While the Cricut Maker 4 device has proven its reliability, the software that drives the device is completely useless, unreliable and littered with bugs. The software is driven by subscription enforcement and anything you purchase cannot be used after the subscription has ended. I have never seen my wife in tears with frustration so many times after we switched from Brother to Cricut. She will spend so much time in a design and then the app will crash and exit. All time and effort is lost! The Design software is just as useless as their Support, as they generally blame the issues on connectivity. Be warned, stick to Brother at least it does not rob you of your life.

I saved up money and purchased a cricut joy in 2022. back in 2023 just a few days after the warrenty expired the machine stopped working. I contacted there ambassadors on social media as I could not get through to them on the social media. cricut refused to assist as there is no warrenty. I then had to pay someone they recommend to have a look at the machine and fix. now a few months later I have the same issue. cricut has no loyalty to there customers, they gift influences with new products and machines who will only use it to make a video. here we have people like me who try to make a living out of crafting and pay there subscription every single month. if you look at the give aways it will always be someone with a huge following that wins the prizes. so disgusted!!!!!!!!!!!!!
