I went to Cum Books at N1 City i was looking for a Bible case cover for my Bible. There was nobody on the floor i call a lady when she came to me she was so miserable when i ask her for the prices like if she don't want to help me. I bought the Bible cover but it was to big . On my way home i pop in at the one in Tygervalley i got one there but it was a little bit small the lady who help me was unfriendly she call the so call manager she look at the case and ask me where is my credit card i took it out but the manager look so miserable she didn't even make eye contact with me and she didn't even look at my credit card. I think she thought i stole the book somewhere. I exchange the cover How can people like that work in a Christian bookshop with such ****** attitude. That how i saw it that was my second time there but never ever again will i go in there to buy something.

On Tuesday the 9th, around 12 of I'm not mistaken. I was at your Cresta branch looking for a bible book for wife. Upon going to the till,the lady who was operating it was very slow and frankly didn't care about customers at all. She was busy talking and giggling with another white male guy,with greyish hair. The lady had glasses and long black hair. I was so frustrated with this kind of service because she was not professional at all,even asked the guy where he was going when he seemed to move from the till. I don't know what kind of behavior this is but from a retail perspective,that is very wrong. Staff should be attentive,speak to customers and in this time period,hurry up when running transactions. Can this matter be taken up please.

I'd like to commend the services of Oupa and Precious at your Kolonnade branch, they are so helpful and quiet good at reading people's needs. I visited the store twice this month to purchase gifts, and on both occasions they gave me quality service. From informing me about new stock to specials. Thank you.

I visited Cum books looking for some books and was impressed by waiter that goes by the of Charmaine her enthusiasm and understanding of the products. Since I was indecisive of what I want she didn’t take time to understand what I was looking for and made great recommendations. The shop has a great selection, and I appreciated her guidance. Well done!

Fancy Casings, Faulty Products ! Wish I Could Give 0 Stars ! 😤 I bought this CUM Books pen as a birthday gift for my partner. It was supposed to be a nice, Christian-themed pen in a fancy casing—something thoughtful and special. But the moment he opened it, the pen literally split in two. And just to be clear, he wasn’t even being rough with it; it just broke on its own. From the very beginning, it’s been impossible to get it back together. Half of the pen is now stuck in the casing, completely useless. We were so excited about it, and now it’s just a frustrating waste of money. Honestly, I’m super unhappy with this purchase. This is not what I expect from any brand, let alone something marketed as a “special gift.” Definitely would not recommend. CUM BOOKS CRESTA BRANCH !!!

I wish I could leave a five star review, because the staff at the Brooklyn Mall shop is professional and outstanding deserving ten stars! This is something that I’m asking, not only for myself but for the health and longevity of the Cum Books shop in general. Brooklyn is in Pretoria and many clients in the mall are Afrikaans speaking, many Afrikaans churches exist in the area and those are the people who WANT to support Christian merchandise. I have been requesting at the cashiers time and again that the shop in Brooklyn Mall stocks more gifts in Afrikaans, but every time when I get there, the shop is filled with English pieces. About three weeks ago I was delighted to find gift bags and a few more pieces in Afrikaans and yesterday - almost ALL OF IT WAS SOLD OUT!!! (Must admit I bought ALL the Afrikaans diaries - exactly FIVE and would’ve bought more). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE start stocking more Afrikaans gifts at your Brooklyn Mall store. You’ll see for yourself how sales escalate!

I Placed an order on Saturday for a friends Birthday on Thursday. Expecting the delivery on Wednesday or Thursday, as they could process the order and ship. However, They never communicated until I asked on Wednesday about tracking details. The response was that they are having a lot of orders. If they could have indicated or communicated prior, then I could have bought at another Bookstore with faster delivery and better communication.
