Really disappointed with my recent order from Fishaways. The squiggly pops were completely overdone and the portion was ridiculous compared to what you normally get — it was noticeably smaller and just not worth it. There was also no sauce included, which made the whole meal even more disappointing. Overall, the quality and attention to detail were really lacking this time. They’ve lost a good customer.
I’m honestly so disappointed. I went to Thunder Gun for dinner last night and the experience was really poor. The service was incredibly slow from start to finish, and it felt like no one really cared. The waiters came across as rude and very nonchalant, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. Our bill was over R1,500 and it honestly wasn’t worth the money. The food was average at best, and the meat wasn’t even cooked as requested. For the price you expect much better quality and service. Overall, it was a really disappointing evening and not somewhere I’d rush back to. 1 star.
0/5 – Extremely Disappointing Experience I honestly don’t even know where to start. I ordered prawns & calamari and received prawns and hake instead. After sending it back, I was brought peri-peri calamari (despite clearly ordering lemon butter because my spice tolerance is zero) along with cold prawns. After waiting again, I finally received lemon butter calamari — except this time the portion was noticeably smaller. With every correction, the portions somehow got smaller and smaller. Between dealing with two different waiters, repeated mistakes, long waits, and cold food, the entire experience was exhausting and incredibly disappointing — especially considering the pricing. In the end, after the third attempt, I gave up, packed the food into a doggy bag, and left. Cold seafood is unacceptable, and this was a complete waste of money. Disappointed doesn’t even begin to cover it. I would honestly expect a refund after an experience like this.
Hi Red Bull Team, I hope you’re doing well. I’m a lifelong Red Bull fan, and I would love the chance to get a Red Bull advent calendar this year. I would happily purchase it myself, but having one would truly make my year. When I realised the Light Blue Winter Edition would stop being available, I went around buying all the ones I could get my hands on in Johannesburg and have been carefully saving them ever since. Until recently, I had 2 left. I drank one on the day my dad passed away, and after a particularly difficult day, I drank my 3rd last one, and my partner took a sip of it. I literally cried. I was heartbroken. My dad and I used to share our love for Red Bull, so it’s more than just a drink to me, it’s tied to my memories, comfort, and joy. I’m now saving the last one for a truly special day or an emergency.🚨 People know that if they buy me a Red Bull, I’ll literally do anything for them. At work, if I don’t show up with a Red Bull, they immediately notice. That’s how much it truly means to me. Having an advent calendar would absolutely make my year. I can already picture the excitement of opening a new Red Bull every single day leading up to Christmas. I would also be thrilled to share the experience on social media. I have 4k followers on Instagram and I’m active on TikTok, so I would happily post content celebrating the calendar and spreading the Red Bull love far and wide. I would be so grateful if you could consider my request. I promise it would be cherished, appreciated, and shared with my followers in all its glory. I’m really disappointed and concerned with my recent purchase. I bought a large amount of fruit and vegetables, and when I opened a packet of potatoes at home, I found a live snail inside. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious questions about the quality and handling of your produce. I’ve always shopped here and trusted the quality, so this was very upsetting. I hope the shop takes this seriously and addresses the issue properly.
Fancy Casings, Faulty Products ! Wish I Could Give 0 Stars ! 😤 I bought this CUM Books pen as a birthday gift for my partner. It was supposed to be a nice, Christian-themed pen in a fancy casing—something thoughtful and special. But the moment he opened it, the pen literally split in two. And just to be clear, he wasn’t even being rough with it; it just broke on its own. From the very beginning, it’s been impossible to get it back together. Half of the pen is now stuck in the casing, completely useless. We were so excited about it, and now it’s just a frustrating waste of money. Honestly, I’m super unhappy with this purchase. This is not what I expect from any brand, let alone something marketed as a “special gift.” Definitely would not recommend. CUM BOOKS CRESTA BRANCH !!!
Absolutely shocking service from Renew It Randburg. They’ve had my car for over three weeks now for minor damage, yet every time I manage to get through to them (which is rare, because they never answer calls), I’m told the same story – “it’s still in the panel beating phase.” There has been zero feedback, no updates, no communication, and I’ve had to constantly chase them for answers. It is completely unacceptable to be left without a car for this long, especially when the damage was not major. At this point, I need my car back by Thursday latest, because I simply cannot continue sitting without transport due to their inefficiency. Renew It Randburg needs to get their act together and actually finish the work they promised. Would not recommend them to anyone – the service is beyond poor.
Absolutely ridiculous service from Vodacom. How can my ticket be marked as closed and resolved when NOBODY from the Cresta branch has even bothered to contact me? The issue is exactly where it was when I logged the complaint — unresolved and ignored. Do your systems just auto-close tickets to make your stats look better? Because from a customer perspective, this is not just poor service — it’s completely unacceptable. I expected better. Someone from Vodacom Cresta needs to follow up and actually fix the issue instead of pretending it doesn’t exist. Sort it out.
0 STARS – HORRIBLE SERVICE AND STILL NO RESOLUTION I am absolutely fed up with Vodacom’s service. What should have been a quick and simple screen protector replacement has become an ongoing, frustrating waste of time that remains unresolved three weeks later. I first visited Vodacom three weeks ago to get my screen protector replaced. I waited over an hour while the staff struggled to use the machine — clearly unsure of how the process worked. When they finally managed to apply the protector, it was full of bubbles. I was told they would disappear. They didn’t. The protector ended up lifting completely not long after. Last week, I returned to get it properly replaced. They didn’t have stock. Trish told me she’d message me when new stock arrived and confirm where I could go. I later received a vague message saying stock would arrive Monday — but no store location, no clear instructions, nothing helpful. I rep**** asking for more information, and Trish never responded. Today, I drove to the other store I was told about — only to be told they didn’t know who I was and couldn’t help me. I was advised to go back to Cresta. At this point, I’ve made three separate trips, wasted time, wasted fuel, and dealt with poor communication and service at every step — and I still don’t have a working screen protector. I expect this to be resolved immediately. If not, I will escalate this to HelloPeter and every other public platform available. Vodacom — this is completely unacceptable. Your service is unprofessional, disorganized, and a waste of your customers’ time. Do better.
Wish I could give the food 0 STARS . I was really disappointed with my order. The Squiggly Pops were completely overcooked—so rubbery they were impossible to enjoy. On top of that, I could taste that the oil was old, which made everything feel greasy and heavy. As someone whose parents own multiple Fishaways stores, I know the standard that should be met, and this was far from it. I expected fresh, well-prepared food, not something that tasted like it had been sitting in an old fryer for hours. How do you plan on addressing this? Because this is not the quality Fishaways is known for. Please give me feedback on how you intend on handling this complaint as I have received 0 response online !
