BAD SERVICE & FOOD.
I’m honestly so disappointed. I went to Thunder Gun for dinner last night and the experience was really poor. The service was incredibly slow from start to finish, and it felt like no one really cared. The waiters came across as rude and very nonchalant, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. Our bill was over R1,500 and it honestly wasn’t worth the money. The food was average at best, and the meat wasn’t even cooked as requested. For the price you expect much better quality and service. Overall, it was a really disappointing evening and not somewhere I’d rush back to. 1 star.

BAD SERVICE & FOOD.

The service was incredibly slow from start to finish, and it felt like no one really cared. The waiters came across as rude and very nonchalant, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. Our bill was over R1,500 and it honestly wasn’t worth the money. The food was average at best, and the meat wasn’t even cooked as requested. For the price you expect much better quality and service. Overall, it was a really disappointing evening and not somewhere I’d rush back to. 1 star.

Thunder Gun cheating people on what they deliver
last night I went for take away, and ordered... 1x marylou ribs + chips R 199 1x steak & ribs combo (salad) R 300 steak medium rare 1x extra mushroom sauce R 39 1x extra onion rings R ?? 1x coffee milkshake R ?? consumed whilst waiting 1x Hunters Gold R ?? consumed whilst waiting It totaled R 640 +- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- they gave me the order and when I got home I found that I had been given only.. 1x marylou ribs + chips R 199 1x marylou ribs + salad R 199 1x extra onion rings R ?? but NO STEAK or mushroom sauce which I ordered specifically for the steak So I paid R 139 extra for nothing, as there was no steak/sauce?? I have been a loyal customer of Thundergun for over 20 years & I have never felt more cheated than I did last night.. I suggest they jack up their procedures & checking orders properly, as after this I doubt I will ever come back again! They don't answer their emails either very dissatisfied customer.. Eric Kirsten

Not the best ribs
I went for ribs because it was voted joburgs best ribs, and honestly it was not ,I ate three of the ribs and had to ask for a takeaway because I was getting nauseas after discovering a long black vein in one of the ribs , unfortunately I was with company I did not want to cause a disruption to our meal, and then the next day I had diarrhea the whole day, pork ribs that the waiter insisted was the best !

One of my favourite steakhouses
I love looking for great steakhouses, and this is one of the best! It has a great nostalgic feel, like we've gone back in time to a cozy and comfortable restaurant from my childhood. The service is always excellent, and the food is always fresh, and exceptionally well prepared. The portions are generous, so be hungry when visiting. Considering the portion size, it makes the price great value.

One of my favourite steakhouses
I love looking for great steakhouses, and this is one of the best! It has a great nostalgic feel, like we've gone back in time to a cozy and comfortable restaurant from my childhood. The service is always excellent, and the food is always fresh, and exceptionally well prepared. The portions are generous, so be hungry when visiting. Considering the portion size, it makes the price great value.

From 5 sart dining to horrible food experience.
I am a fan of Thunder Gun's ribs BUT the ribs me and my wife had yesterday, was really horrible. We both feel ill of the ribs we had, my wife complained that she's feeling noxious when we left. When we arrived home I started feeling ill as well..I am convinced that the food we were served was not fresh at all (expired meat or left overs). Very unhappy and disappointed!!!

Disappointing service and raw steak
I went to grab my favourite meal on Sunday but for the second time in a row Thunder Gun has yet again disappointed me. I ordered their 600g ribs as well as my all time favourite 500g T-Bone, this time round I was made to wait close to 30 minutes (above the 20 minutes that I already waited since I ordered for collection 20 minutes earlier), the steak was to be medium to well, instead I received a almost Not cooked steak that was seemingly old. I had to use the microwave to cook the steak when I got home (even took a picture of the almost raw steak) 😔

Thunder Gun - The ribs Excellence
The staff, amazing, they make you feel important, they are professional, they are kid friendly...and my family and I loved being there Now, their ribs, I am so in love with their ribs. I never used to order ribs, even when I got there I did not order ribs, but my daughter let me taste hers, and I was hooked. They are the best I have ever tasted.
