Based on recent customer reviews, DebtSafe presents a deeply polarised customer experience. Customers who connect with dedicated consultants such as Monique Lloyd, Sello Kutumela, and Sipho Ntuli report exceptional, personalised service. However, a recurring pattern of communication breakdowns, unresolved billing disputes, prolonged clearance certificate delays, and allegations of being placed under debt review without consent significantly undermine overall trust and satisfaction.

"I am extremely satisfied with the service I received at DebtSafe. The team was professional, punctual, and paid great attention to detail. The work was completed on time and exceeded my expectations. It was especially great to work with Monique Lloyed and Eulenda Mabuela. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for quality and reliability."

I got a call from Angela from debtsafe. She said she is offering me a loan only to find out that she is putting me under debt review. She then told me to do whatever I want and see if I'll win. I want to sue her and the company she is working for, for outing my name under debt review without my consent this the number she called me with +27 12 013 2350. I saw a message that's when j realised she's lying to me

What an absolute joke. Parts are working very well, other parts not so much. Let me start from the beginning. Due to circumstances not accomodated for, I was forced to bite thw buller and went for debt counselling. As a walk in-client I was mer by the receptionist, and a debt counseler. They where extremely helpful and generally polot and respectful. I submitted the relevant documentation and went under 'debt review'. The account was handed over to the Distribution part and the Relationship Manager. I had a couple of interactions directly with the RM, regarding available cashflow as the process is obviously a negotiation between the creditors and the company (supposedly on my behalf). It costed me some money to urgently get some documents to them, after they sent me the documents. I submitted it, and was informed but thats not what they need. They resubmitted new documents, which I ended up to put on a overnight courier 'because urgency, and time sensitif' due to the upcoming courtcase that is suppose to provide a court order on how much I have to pay. Now this was well over 5 months ago. And guess what, no feedback, no communication. Only silence. I also asked for some feedback regarding lawyers contacting me regarding outstanding debts, and asked for feedback on the situation. As far as I am aware, the negotiantion is between the Debt review company, and the creditors. Now I have to answer directly to the laywers because they get no response from the RM as to account status, also I dont get any feedback from the RM. This is absolutely unprofessional and unjust, as they are suppose to handle the matters on my behalf. This is now after when you go under review, they dont pay anyone anything for three consecutive months because that payments are their "laywer fees" to manage the account. So you end up with a massive shortfall and cant change companies, because they will do the same. You cant cancel because you will end up with lawsuites. And you cant get any information of how things are standing. This is absolutely the best thieving **** ever. What a unproffesional bunch it turns out to be.

I generally did not have a pleasant experience with Debt Safe. I often struggled to reach them. The Relationship Manager does not pick up call nor answer email. I am rating them 4 because eventually Ms Lebogang Ledwaba was of great help in assisting to cancel my Debt Review without any hustles.

Based on recent customer reviews, this business delivers a consistently strong customer experience anchored by outstanding agent quality and rapid communication. Customers frequently name individual consultants and praise their friendliness, patience, and professionalism. Recurring praise is given to claims and roadside assistance, though a vocal minority report frustrating delays, rejected claims, and poor transparency around premium increases.
This business's biggest strength, according to Hellopeter's AI analysis, is Agent Quality & Customer Care. Named consultants are praised repeatedly for patience, friendliness, and going above and beyond. Words like 'amazing,' 'star,' and 'gem' appear frequently, reflecting genuinely caring human interactions.
The most common complaint, based on Hellopeter's AI analysis of recent customer reviews, is Pricing, Premiums & Transparency. Customers appreciate premium reductions upon request but complain about unexplained annual increases, hidden excess charges, and debits continuing after cancellation. Transparency at policy inception is a recurring gap.
