Decopools review
We paid R30 000 deposit to the owner of Decopools in February 2018. We were promised that the pool would be installed in April as he was extremely busy with installations. The date was moved multiple times. They dis not pitch up on 21 May 2018 as they promised on Friday 18 May 2018. I sent a Whatsapp the morning of the 21st to confirm the time they will be on site. My whatsapp was read, but I received no reply. Thereafter I was blocked on all numbers. Their website and facebook page was deleted on the 21st of May and up till today they have not attempted to contact me. I also cannot get hold of them. Worst decision we ever made was to contact them! We have lost R30000.

Decopools review

Honest pool company. DecoPools
Can i just start to say what big investment it is to install a pool. With us not knowing the ropes we contacted numerous companies and finally decided on DecoPools. Just because they did not just try to 'sell' the product but they were honest from day one. We had hard rock on site but with quick arrangements DecoPools resolved the problem with jackhammers. We can say the process was not an easy one but a very pleasant one. When we first thought to invest in a swimming pool we did not know where to go, but we can say with all honesty that we will refer DecoPools to everyone!

These people dig a hole and deliver a shell after payment of R 48 870.00 was made. Balance on quote remaining is R 26 875.00 . Nothing as per quote was delivered. Remaining cost due is R 15000.00 for heatpump and R 3000.00 for extras on paving . If this is deducted from quote remaining money on pool is R 8875.50 and nothing is done. There is no one on site and Izak said that he will not finish if we do not release another R20 000.00. Currently on site Shell , weir and light. Non compacted hole and that is it. Trying to resolve this matter Izak threw the phone down in my ear. He did not want to give references as it is " his business". See supporing photo's of what was to be delivered for the initial R 57 751.00 He will most propably delete this but pls screenshot and feel free to contact me

Swimming Pools installation
Rather stay away from Decopools if you are not an expert in swimming pool installations and can supervise the team full time. We relied on their expertise and after the unsupervised team came back 3 times, the pool is still not level, mould bubbles and finishing was not done properly. Cement cracks and crumbles after one week. Their excuse is that we, the clients, were not present during installation therefore they don’t accept any responsibility for the bad workmanship. www.decopools.co.za

We relied on their expertise and after the unsupervised team came back 3 times, the pool is still not level, mould bubbles and finishing was not done properly. Fantastic Service and value for money!!
We accepted a quote from DecoPools last year September. Till today we've not had one problem with the pool. I was in two minds regarding a pre mould pool and wanted to get a custom concrete pool. But when I contacted Izak from Decopools he was extremely helpful and definitely won my vote for a premould pool. He is very professional and arranged a site visit the next day. Although they only had an installation date available end of October it was well worth the wait. His team was very friendly and oom Basie made sure that all the work was done correctly. We take our hats off to Themba that managed hiS team very well and they worked around the clock to finish our now beautiful pool. Even though the quote was not the cheapest that we got, we truly feel that we definitely got value for our money. Thanks again DecoPools!!

Although the rain delayed our installation, we would like to thank the team at DecoPools for our lovely new pool. A special thanks to Izak van Heerden and Uncle Basie who walked through the process with us - you are very professional yet down to earth and it was a pleasure accepting the project and having you complete it! Thank you for coming back to check that all was in order and taking the extra effort to ensure all was in working fine. We would recommend them to anyone. They are a honest hardworking team and they make you feel very comfortable during the installation process. Thank you once again for our lovely pool!! We are splashing away this supper and enjoying it!!

Advertise pools from other pool companies as their own
Ok well.. so.. Decopools please clarify/elaborate on the swimming pool photos of Bakgat Pools (Cape Town) you advertise as your own? The owner of Bakgat Pools Cape Town is Shane Lewis. Decopools is advertising the pools of Bakgat Pools as their own. Its pasted all over their Facebook page. How bad is that? Right?! Next time Decopools, remember not to use the photos of Bakgat Pools as your own. Rather build your own pools haha O yes, and please can you clarify the 20 years experience as stated on your website? As far as I know Decopools was only established in 2015.. and clearly that is not 20 years.
