Stay away from this Rental Agent. There a reason its called DIC Homes, because they turn into real Dic's once your no longer renting from them, you will lose your deposit and they still hand you over for so called repairs. I moved into a property at Brooklands lifestyle estate 3 in Centurion, upon viewing the place there was multiple nails and *****s still in the house and even a TV bracket from the previous tenant, i also asked about electricity avarage cost for the unit and was told because we only 2 people we looking at R1000 to R1500pm and that seemed to be in line with the R900 to R1200 we spend at current place. After moving the first 3 months the electricity worked out about R400 per week so it was already more that expected, then on the 4th month we suddenly jumped to R650 per week =R2600 pm then i complained about it to the supplier of electricity Meter Shack, then it went down to R450 per week for couple weeks then sudden jump again to R1000 per week. This is when i asked DIC homes to step in and assist as they are the Agent for the property, an electrician came and installed his own metering equipment to see the load on the unit, and was told ill get report, Never got a report. Then it was time to renew my lease and i refused to sign a new lease due to the electricity charges and gave them 2 months notice as per their lease agreement. Almost a month after notice was given Johan phoned me one day and asked if we might be able to move sooner as he has someone interested to take the place, we then found another place and after i paid my deposit and phoning Johan to say we will be out at the end of that month got told that i now cant leave sooner, then told them they then may keep my deposit as im not gonna pay another months rent and R4000+ for electricity and was told thats fine. Only to get an invoice saying i still need to pay for repairs for nails and things i did not even put in the wall for R2800. I refused to pay this as prior to moving in these nails and things was already on the walls. Now they handed me over to some lawyer for this, yet when i stayed there i was told im one of the few good tenants they have. So dont trust these guys, THEY ARE MONEY WOLFS

I bought a house through Dic homes. Which was the seller's agent. The day I was meant to move in, Ivette from Dic homes Centurion came with a bakkie and took some things from the house without my consent. Now she refuses to give the stuff back, saying she sold it so someone in need. She had absolutely no right removing things from the property without my permission. This amounts to theft. Very *********.

Their ******* advertising is destroying the aesthetic of our area. Every street corner has a Dic homes sign stating PROPERTY WANTED, the council and residents of the area remove the signage, and within day their lackey has replaced them. ZERO regard for the resident in the area, this business is the second worst offender in our area of Centurion. Reading the other experiences on Google reviews and on this platform, it seems this management do not care for anything but their bottom line. DISGUSTING!

Terrible company to do business with. Bought a house through them and was assisted by Lourens Van Der Merwe who is such ******, in a week of moving into the house, the stove gave in and i had to fix it because Lourens was too quick to take sides with the Seller, now the gersey is licking and Lourens is not willing to help at all.. if there was proper inspection this issues wouldn't have occurred in 6 months after moving in..This company doesn't care for Buyers but for Sellers especially if you're white or Indian..

This company continues to harras me - I have called their director and Ivette Venter and on numerous occasions requested them to cease from their covert emails. They refuse to advise me where they obtained my personal details and according to the POPI act, they are in breach. Beware of doing business with unethical opportunists.
