Last year I went to a Jet store looking to buy a phone with cash or as a laybuy. After chosing one I liked, the consultant at the store suggested a different payment method. As she explained it the Digital care contract normally included a 24 months payments plan but I could call in after signing the contract to have it adjusted to a 6 months contract instead, which is what I wanted. She insisted that alterations to the payment plan were possible and that I should sign. Believing her, I did only to be confused by the first when the first payment was taken from my account as the amount was to low for a six months payment plan. I went back to the store repeatedly to speak to the representative and her colleagues, only to eventually find out that the person I dealt with was still new to the job and didn't explain the terms clearly. They claimed there was nothing they could do to help me in-store and they told me to contact Digital Care directly for help. Contacting Digital Care has been pointless. Even when I explained the situation they just blamed me for not getting clarification on the contract terms before signing. I have already paid the value of the phone which was on sale for R2 000 and continuing with this contract would mean I will end up paying a total of R8 000 in the end. I tried to ask about the cancellation policy and fee but they say cancellation is an additional fee which they never mentioned as early as I could have cancelled. This is a breach of my rights under South Africa's Consumer Protection Act.

I took a phone lease in April 2023 for 12 months. Total repayment was R3770. I paid this in full longer than 12 months because I missed 3 months payment. This company then has debt collecting companies call and email me. I send the company proof of payments (bank statments) the lease agreement which proves I have paid them back in full. They persist I am still in debt with them for R2000 + areas. They say it was a 24 month lease. How does one pay R3770 in 24 months when the no th repayment amount is R249.99? How have I paid for 15 months but still owe R2000 + arreas? This have effected my credit score. I called them multiple times, they are *****ulent because their name changed from digital care to boltech. Their customer service is lazy, the managers never call back. I have explained and sent proof over and over again and every month they say I owe more. This is effecting not only my credit score but, my mental health. Make it stop! I do not recommend anyone use their service and clearly I am not the only person they do this to!

I did a campaign with Megaworxx for digital care South Africa and Megaworxx hasn’t paid our incentives. We have been waiting since July and 2 weeks back they told us the client has paid but they haven’t processed the money as promised.

After paying off the contract, thy then deducted another month without closing off the account until I called them on 3/6/24 they promised to pay back the money owed to me but as of today I haven't received it . The part that gets me angry is that when I keep calling them they keep saying my money has been processed but there's still nothing in my account

I am definately not happy with the way they do things really. They never pick calls on their customer service line . But there are few of them who are willing to help.
